Really lovely place, clean, tidy and spacious

  • 5 of 5

Lovely place. It was clean, tidy and spacious. House keeper, Lorraine was really helpful and could not do enough for you. It was very peaceful and some where you could relax. Lots of local beeches which were wonderful. Lovely harbour and eating places. The only thing I would have changed is the washing machine for a dish washer. I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone. Really easy to book and quick response from owners, it is lovely when things like this are hazzel free, thank you Della, Mark and Lorraine

A lovely house minutes from the harbour

  • 5 of 5

A well appointed house, with everything you need. Comfortable bed and living room, and literally two minutes walk from the harbour. Access by car is a little tricky, as the road leading to it, and the entrance to the parking, is tight, but it doesn't take long to get used to it.

We had a lovely week there and would recommend it.

Just Stunning!!

  • 5 of 5

Wow!! What a place. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine which is always a good start. The house was stunning with everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable. We are a family of 5 and were very comfortable there with ample space, not on top of each other!! And oh my gosh that huge bed was amazing and so comfortable!!

This was definitely the most relaxed holiday I have had in years, there was no rushing to get to club houses for certain times.

The harbour and surrounding restaurants, take aways and shops give you everything you need within a short 10 minute walk, if you don't wish to leave the area, though of course there are supermarkets etc. a short drive away

We were also very lucky with the weather but to be honest I .do not think it would have made much difference really if it had rained. While we were there we visited the Eden project which was not too far, and also drove out to Lands End.

So all in all we had a fantastic holiday and I would go back in a heartbeat. I would definitely recommend the accommodation and area to family and friends.

Thank you Mark and Della

Spacious and well located in Mevagissey

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely stay here in July. The pictures do not do the size of the property justice, we were a party of four adults and a dog and there was plenty of space for everyone. The house is located within a two minute walk to the harbour front so all local amenities are close to hand. Our Mevagissey recommendations would be the Sharksfin for good pub food and the Salamander for good restaurant style food. There are plenty of lovely walks, Polstreath beach (beware of the steps) is a great place for an early morning dog walk, we were fortunate to see a bull Seal down there one morning. The mackerel fishing trip with Chris on Aquila is also well worth doing, we caught 35 fish and also spotted a Sun Fish from the boat. Thanks Mark and Della for another fabulous Mevagissey holiday, we hope to be back next year.

Cornwall Dream

  • 5 of 5

Amazing accommodation! A bottle of wine was awaiting us on arrival to this beautiful house. Attractively decorated and within a stroll of the harbour, shops and pubs. This house was clean and tidy and dog friendly too with generous room sizes. Myself, wife and kids loved it here in Mevagissey. The area is great and so much to do within a 45 minute drive. We visited Flambards Theme park, Oasis Fun Pool with flumes and Newquays famous beach too! The kids loved crabbing and fishing by the harbour also. Meva has loads of places to eat out as well as many take aways including Fish n Chips, Indian,Chinese as well as the famous Cornish Pasties. Of course you can cook your own food with Tesco and Asda superstores only a few miles away in St Austell. This place is highly recommended and we'll will definitively be back!! Thank you for a great holiday!
