Traditional Log Cabin on the shores of lake Windermere, Lake District Cumbria. (Bowness Lodge) - Secluded Aspect Only 100 Metres From The Lakeside

Our lodge has a spacious open plan lounge furnished to a high standard for up to 6 guests providing a 32" LCD TV with Freeview, DVD player, CD/radio hi-fi system, books and games added for your comfort. The dining area has a table and seating for up to 6 people. Double patio doors lead from the lounge onto a large, south facing, elevated decking area with garden furniture, outside lighting and a gas barbecue new for 2015. Perfectly positioned for the sun during the day and the evening sun later, ideal for al fresco drinks and dining. The kitchen provides an oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, slow cooker, kettle and toaster. Tea, coffee and sugar is provided with our compliments. The main bedroom has a comfortable king-size bed, wardrobe and bedside tables. Bedrooms 2 and 3 each contain 2 single beds, a wardrobe and bedside table. A separate bathroom contains a shower cubicle, with towels, soap and toilet tissue provided. There is a gas fire in the lounge and central heating throughout the lodge. Additional information •Gas, electricity, towels and linen are included in the pricing. •Beds will be made up before you arrive. •The lodge has an iron, ironing board and hair dryer. •We can provide you with a travel cot and high chair if required at no extra cost, so please mention this at the time of booking. •Dogs are welcome again at no extra charge. •At the side of the lodge we have private parking for 2 cars. •There is a strict no smoking policy within and directly outside the lodge.

We offer a 5% discount on our prices for returning guests, so again please mention at the time of booking.

Notes on accommodation: The park is open 1st March-14th Jan each year. Guests are welcome to use the on site leisure facilities free of charge. Large elevated decking is set on the front of the property offering outside dining. Decking is a sunny aspect which is ideal for al-fresco dining and drinks. Also equipped with table and chairs and BBQ new to 2015. Pets are welcome at Bowness lodge by arrangement with the owner Free on site WIFI. There is a small supermarket on-site with a bar, swimming pool, spa, sauna and gym. Outside is a beer garden, children’s play area and tennis courts and a marina. There is a launderette with large capacity washing machines and dryers. Outside: Situated right in the heart of the Lake District, White Cross Bay Holiday Park enjoys over 60 acres of delightful wooded parkland running down to the shores of Windermere lake. A 4 star, beautifully maintained holiday park holding the David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation. The panorama of the lake, surrounding fells and countryside is quite simply breathtaking. On site there is a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna and fitness suite (payable locally), a relaxing bar and a fully licensed restaurant all totally refurbished in 2015. A takeaway service is also available if you prefer to eat in the comfort of your own Lodge. Laundry facilities and a well stocked shop and off license complete the indoor amenities. Live entertainment is performed in the bar on site most weekends during the peak the season. Outdoor there is children's play area and, again new to 2010, a games area consisting of a combined tennis court, 5 a side football pitch and a basketball court. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are provided with the beds made up prior to your arrival. Our cleaning team will clean the entire lodge to ensure a perfect start to your holiday. Tea towels, tea, coffee, sugar and toilet tissue are also provided at no extra cost.
