We recently bought this house with a view to our own occupancy in the future as we love Wells and all it has to offer. We would really like others to enjoy Wells and its surrounding areas before we move (ie retire there!)

We love this house as it is level walking distance to everything Wells has to offer. History, convenience of amenities, near open countryside, cinema. The house is in a quiet mews courtyard development.

What a fantastic stay at Bishop Mews in Wells.
It was the final stop of a 6-leg England marathon and it was exactly what us battle travel weary needed. The unit was the cleanest and quietly pretty condo I have ever seen. The location was smack-dab in Wells, mere feet from my favorite store (White Stuff!) and oh yeah, that dang gorgeous cathedral. Beds were comfy, the kitchen was larger than my own at home, and the check-in and check-out were simple as pie (I detest having to see anyone ;)). And that parking space (which I heard was tiny) was no match for my husband, who with gentle finesse managed to park our VW Passat with no problem. I can't recommend Bishop Mews enough. .
The flat was spotless, comfortable and thoughtfully equipped. Really lovely place to stay, and right in the heart of Wells, 2 minutes walk from everything.
I never did manage the tight parking space in my rental car but the car park on South St a hundred yards away is 5 pounds for 24 hours and well lit at night

This is a lovely property and it was perfect for our short break. The town centre location was good for visiting the Cathedral and Bishop’s Palace Gardens, and it was easy to get out of town to visit Glastonbury Abbey and the Avalon Marshes.
The property itself is exceptionally clean - probably the cleanest we have stayed in. It is very comfortable, tastefully furnished, and well equipped. The parking is advertised as suitable for a small/medium sized car, and this is accurate. That said, we were able to manoeuvre a Nissan Qashqi in and out of the space. Any car longer or wider than this would be a challenge. However, there are reasonably priced car parks very close by.
We would choose this property again for a more extended break.
Ideally located just off the High Street. Wells Cathedral, the Bishop’s Palace, Vicar’s Close, shops, restaurants, pubs are all within easy walking distance. And, with its own allocated, under cover, parking space. The property is very modern, warm, tastefully furnished to a high spec with very comfortable beds. We would not hesitate to return.

We had a most enjoyable stay here for a week. The apartment deserves 5 stars. conveniently located and very close to the high street and bus station, it’s modernly furnished and spotless clean. The dining room is spacious and bright. The kitchen is fully equipped. It’s hard to find accommodation in Wells which provides washing machine, dishwasher, full size fridge and freezer and large smart TV with free view. All are provided here and in their best condition. We could not have asked for more. The bedrooms are comfy. Bathrooms are with good ventilation and plenty of hot water. The area is safe, clean and very quiet. We had good sleep every night. Thank you Lesley. We are so lucky to find your place. Will certainly book here again next time when we come.

We enjoyed staying at the property. It was nicely decorated and equipped with everything we needed. It was just off the main street so a great location.
