Apartment, St Ives, Cornwall, less than 10 min walk to Po rthminster beach and heart of town. In a peaceful area of St Ives, 10 minute stroll to beaches, heart of town and harbour.

View at Belyars Croft is a luxury ground floor apartment with level access from the car park. There is one car parking space a real bonus in the busy summer months when it can be virtually impossible to park near to town.

The spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area has large windows, with a window seat and French door framing super views over the communal garden across St Ives bay.

It is generously equipped, we hope with everything you require for a relaxing, memorable holiday in St Ives. There is access through the French doors to your own private decked and small grass area, with a table and 4 chairs.

Outside you will also find a bike store for guests to secure their bikes.

It is located in the Belyars area of St Ives, a peaceful location yet within easy reach of the beautiful beaches and hustle and bustle of this lively cosmopolitan town.

Take a look at our special low season rates (excluding school holidays, Christmas and New Year). In low season there is still plenty going on in St Ives and we accept bookings for short breaks, 4 nights minimum stay.

About Cassandra Rawlings and Richard Tomlinson

Cassandra has a life long love of Cornwall borne out of family holidays growing up and holidays with her own son. Richard fell in love with St Ives and the surrounding area from the moment he was introduced to it. It never fails to take our breath away and after years of visiting we still have a list of things we want to do each time we come down. We feel privileged to be able to own a second home here and have furnished and equipped it to meet our own high standards. Whatever your interests, we hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.

Why Cassandra Rawlings and Richard Tomlinson chose St Ives

St Ives is a bustling town with the most amazing beaches and country side on its doorstep. The Belyars is a peaceful location within a short walk of all the bars, restaurants, cafes and amenities you will need for your holiday. You could walk to a different beach every day of your weeks holiday or catch the train to Carbis bay or Lelant within 15 minutes. There are good bus services if you wish to visit other parts of Cornwall although the timetables for public transport are more limited in the quieter months.

What makes this apartment unique

Perfect location to stay at for special occasions. On New Years Eve St Ives becomes a huge fancy dress party, great fun for all the family either to watch and choose your favourite outfits or why not join in. There is a fireworks display in the harbour at midnight, watch from the Malakoff a great vantage point just a couple of minutes from the apartment

We had a really great stay in your superb apartment, it was just "the best" we had ever stayed in , it was modern, spotlessly clean, comfortable, spacious and very well equipped, I haven't slept so well in ages the luxury bed was so comfortable I slept in until 10:30 on our first morning.

"We Loved It" would certainly stay again and highly recommend the apartment to family and friends.

We had a great week with some really good weather, had a nice Sunday Roast at the Watermill in Lelant and a superb dinner down at the harbour.

The St Ives Buses were not running as it was too early in the year but the Royal buses were running from the Coach & Car Park at the Leisure Centre and the drivers were happy to drop us on our return right outside the apartment.

We just chilled out and rested with our feet up on the decking most mornings but did take the train to Carbis Bay to have lunch at the Hotel there, we did not go twice as it took so much time and effort to walk back up the hill to the station we missed the train and spent an hour waiting for the next one back to St Ives.

I am 73 and my wife is 68, but we are fitter now after the Carbis Bay trip.

All in all, it was a really good week and we thoroughly enjoyed it mostly thanks to your very special apartment, thanks for letting us stay.

For stays longer than 1 week a weekly clean can be arranged and bedding and towels changed if required.

We love this property. We’ve stayed there before, a couple years ago, and made it our choice for a return visit. St Ives can be crazy busy in the summer, and being up the hill at night, but still close enough to walk down for meals, shopping and the beach is just wonderful.

A fabulous holiday apartment with sea views

Stayed at this wonderful accommodation between Christmas and New Year. Found this accommodation to be new and very clean throughout. It was equipped with everything required for a super break. The owners have thought about the interior design very carefully to reflect the location and sea views. A very nice welcome pack was provided, thank you. Plenty of useful information about the area and instructions for appliances. We would definitely book again.

Porthminster beach is a 10 minute stroll downhill with half a mile of golden sand, calm seas and safe bathing, RNLI lifeguard patrols in the Summer. Facilities include toilets and a beach café. There are beach huts for hire and a putting green. Dolphins, porpoises and seals are often seen in the bay.

There are 7 beaches within 3 miles of St Ives, several within easy walking distance.

Further Details:

St Ives is world famous for it's art history and is home to the Tate St Ives, Barbara Hepworth Museum and Leach Pottery. There numerous galleries and several places run painting and creative workshops throughout the year for adults and children.

Fishing and pleasure trips depart from the harbour in the centre of town where you will find a large selection of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops.

There is a post office, several banks, chemist, butchers, bakeries and grocery stores selling local produce. The butcher also keeps catch of the day Newlyn fish and they are happy to order in the morning for afternoon delivery or for the following day if there is anything you would like especially. There is a Tesco store on the road to Carbis bay who offer online ordering and home delivery.

Although probably best known for its stunning coast line the area around St Ives has beautiful countryside with a variety of easy going trails and more challenging walking along the South West Coast Path which passes through the town.

On a rainy day you could visit the local leisure centre, a five minute walk away where you will find will find a 25 metre indoor pool which has lane swimming and family fun sessions. There is a gym with stunning views, various classes and a café on site.
