This unique 3 bed / 3 bath property is in the tranquil village of Oasis de Nazaret. With a 2,500 square metre plot size encompassing beautiful landscaped gardens this very private space has stunning ocean and volcano views . A heated pool and an additional hot tub make for all year round swimming and bathing. The three ensuite bedrooms have all been furnished using neutral decor so the overall feeling is one of peace and tranquility. A very well equipped kitchen with Bosch electric oven and Gas hob benefits from state of the art Bosch fridge /freezer and ´silent´dishwasher. The lounge area has a very tranquil feel with the main feature being the large picture window overlooking the gardens and with views across the countryside to the volcanoes on the horizon . There is a 42 inch flat screen TV /DVD with a full menu of channels including BBC / ITV / RTE etc. Parents of young children please note that a) the master bedroom (The Loft) is a separate building on the other side of the swimming pool from the main villa and b) the property has terracing / landscaping so there are steps from the parking area to the villa itself. Hence it may not be suitable for individuals with limited mobility.

alan dolan purchased this Villa in 2011
Why alan dolan chose Nazaret
Oasis de Nazaret is in my view the perfect location on the island. It is near to everything but feels like you´re a million miles from anywhere. The property itself is beautfully unique . I know of nothing like it anywhere on the island.
What makes this Villa unique
I know the Lanzarote property market very well. A few of my friends are real estate agents and they all agree that the villa is unique on the island. It is totally private and feels like an oasis of peace and tranquility and yet because of the landscaping and terracing the villa itself has uninterrupted views across the countryside to volcanoes and the ocean.

Lovely Villa and Location
We stayed here for a week in Early January. Corinne (the housekeeper) met us on arrival and showed us around the property.
The Villa is very private as described, nowhere is overlooked. The area is very quiet and a good, fairly central location for exploring the island. There is a highly rated restaurant within easy walking distance although we didn't try it. A local shop is also a short walk away for essentials.
All in all this is a beautiful villa in a great location for peace and quiet. I thoroughly recommend it.
We’re glad you enjoyed your stay
Very best wishes

Lovely photographs but reality is a little different.
Whilst we enjoyed our stay, the actual differs from the picture painted with the description on the web page.. For example.
.One of the toilets does not work and no toilet paper can be used. The bidet in the loft was also out of action!.
The pool surround was dirty, full of leaves and bird feathers and torn, in fact my wife tripped on the torn surround and badly bruised her legs and arms.
In the pool itself paint was wearing away at the bottom of the pool and the steps out of the pool felt soft underfoot.
The sun beds had no cushions.
The gardens could do with attention to get rid of the overgrown bushes as well as the volume of dead leaves everywhere together with masses of bird poo under the trees by the side of the driveway to the garage.
The garage itself was so full of clutter we could not believe anyone could amass so much stuff and actually find anything in it..
In the loft there were only two armchairs both of which had a broken arm and could not be used at all. Fortunately there was a sofa, however sitting in it lead to an army of ants emerging from the area here the sofa was located
The buildings themselves were pretty tired looking in several places, a coat of paint and removal of the peeling paint would go a long way to tidying up the property..
In summary we think that some money needs to be spent by the owner to restore this property to its obvious former glory.
We greatly appreciated the help and services provided by Julie and Martin..
We will be back to this fantastic Island but not to the villa Dora Bella unless its upgraded somewhat!..
Thanks for your review . I'm sorry you found that the villa did not live up to your expectations as it's rare we get a less than excellent review.
As you can imagine it's a little bit like painting the Eiffel Tower i.e. Once we finish all the maintenance we are at a point where we have to begin again. We have now included replacing the pool surround in the next maintenance week.
Re the ants they are all across the island this summer for some reason. It's unfortunate but such things are part and parcel of living in the sub tropics.
Very best wishes

Real get away from it all villa!
This is the perfect place to stay if you like to sample the real Lanzarote rather than the loud, brash resorts. Villa itself is spacious with everything you need to chill out. We had a few hiccups but these were sorted pretty quickly and didn't spoil our stay at all. A few extra touches would make this place perfect but overall we had a great time. The local sociade serves fantastic steaks and huge measures of gin, vodka well worth a visit (or two) and so very friendly, even got our drinks poured up ready for us on our third visit! Sadly there was a strike of all national tourist attractions during our 2 week stay but we made our own fun. It does however get chilly evenings and pretty windy so go prepared, however the hot tub made it possible to sit outside on these evenings. Really friendly housekeeper who left a great welcome pack, and would go back to Dora Bella again without a second thought, just needs a little tlc to make it perfect.
Thanks for the feedback so Glad You enjoyed your stay snd happy To hear You tried the sociedad too :0)
We are currently organising a new surrounding for the swimming pool as Well as having the wood work revarnished And the exterior painting brought Up To scratch .
Very best wishes

Very restful with the most amazing views!
This was our first trip to Lanzarote and we loved it! The Villa is lovely, really peaceful and with the most amazing views! Its really well equipped and we had a lovely lunch ready for us when we arrived with wine, beer and juice for the kids! The owners were very helpful and any problems got dealt with straight away. I would definitely recommend both Lanzarote and the villa!
Thanks for the review Sally. We are glad you loved the villa as much as we do. Our housekeeper said you were great to deal with and was happy you enjoyed the welcome food and drinks.

A week in July
My husband & I booked this villa very last minute and it was ideal for what we wanted. It is private and not overlooked which is a priority for us. Being situated centrally on the island was ideal as we wanted to tour as much of the island as possible (think we went on every tarmac road). Mornings we relaxed & read (& caught up on social media) & then set off to find new places for lunch & explore more of the island. We didn't use the pool much but it was warm enough on the occasions we did. Julie was extremely helpful, the villa was clean & the rooms large but as one bedroom is separate from the main villa it is maybe not suitable for families with younger children. We had a very enjoyable week in relaxing surroundings & would certainly recommend the villa.
Thanks so much for your review. We're happy to hear you enjoyed your week.
As you say the villa is centrally located so ideal for exploring all parts of the island. sounds like you had a nice mix of R&R and exploration.
Very best wishes
