This is a gorgeous cottage - and very big ! Ideally situated within walking distance of the shops, sea, pubs and restaurants. I dont think I have ever stayed anywhere that has felt like home from home - there was not a single thing that we needed that wasn't in the property. Lovely decor, very clean, al ideal for me my mum and my two sons! Thank you - we will be back!
Great guest. Is more than welcome to stay at Oyster Bed Cottage anytime. . .
Lovely cottage in an excellent location
Cottage was nicely decorated and very practical. It was clean and modern. Best of all was its location - right of the heart of everything. I would definitely stay here again.
Fantastic location. Well equipped and comfortable cottage with everything we needed for our stay. Very helpful owner.
Central location within easy walking distance of the beach, shops, harbour.
Three generations of my family stayed over Easter. Good location which suited everyone and enabled us to walk easily to many areas of Whitstable. Appreciated secure car parking.
Cottage was comfortable without being too cluttered. Well equipped and well maintained.
Hope to return again
Lovely cottage, 2 minutes walk to beach and round corner from high street. Really useful to have the parking space. Jodie very helpful and nothing too much trouble. No hesitation in highly recommending.
Brilliant Guest, can always stay at Oyster Bed Cottage in the future.
Fantastic Ideally Located Property
This is a great property and was ideal for a brief stay with the family.
The ability to sleep so many was a bonus and made it a really cost effective option.
The property is brilliantly positioned and is within a few minutes walk of both the beach and the High Street
There are numerous restaurants nearby as well as a "Local" supermarket to stock up on essentials.
The secure parking is also a bonus although there are other car parks nearby.
We were met by Jodie on arrival, with the property being ready earlier than stated and she was really helpful.
I really cant find anything to be negative about
Wonderful guest, always welcome to stay at Oyster Bed Cottage.
Coast/Beach: Whitstable beach is a 1 minute walk from Oyster Bed Cottage. The beach is one of very few in the country that has the benefit of a pub on it! Whitstable has excellent conditions for water sports and is a popular windsurfing and sailing destination. Travel: Whitstable train station is a 5 minute journey by car (or a 15 minute walk) with direct links to London and Canterbury. Distances: The beautiful cathedral city of Canterbury is a 15 minute journey by car. Further Details: Why Whitstable? Whitstable town is very fashionable but family-orientated, and just has a really nice laid-back atmosphere. Walk around the old part of the high street, and browse in some of the quirky little independently run shops. You can pick up some nice little bits and bobs in one of the proper, traditional shops or galleries in the high street and elsewhere. The harbour every weekend hosts a market, offering not just fish, but the work of local designers and artists. The sea fronts are “must-sees” too. Last but not least are the restaurants..... Famed throughout Kent and the U.K for its Oysters and fine eateries, this is a town well known for its culinary delights... or you may just want good old fish and chips sat on the beach watching the sun go down, whatever your mood, there is a restaurant to suit you.
