Shops and restaurants are located nearby both in the village and on the sea front. The apartment is furnished to a high standard and there is allocated undercover car parking. Open plan living room / kitchen / dining area, patio doors leading on to large L shaped balcony. Access by lift or stairs. Balcony overlooks pool, sea and mountains.The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and overlooks the large-kidney shaped communal pool, sea and mountains. There is a fully fitted kitchen including oven/hob, fridge freezer, microwave, electric kettle and toaster. The lounge has 2 new settees, a Flat Screen Freeview TV WiFi and English TV including Sky Channels also a DVD Player for those quiet evenings. There are DVD's, books and a couple of games for further entertainment. Patio doors lead onto the very large balcony, which has a large table with 6 chairs for al-fresco dining. The master bedroom has a king size bed, fully fitted wardrobes, separate en-suite shower room and access to the large balcony. The second bedroom has two single beds, fully fitted wardrobes and sea views. We also have a fold up bed and travel cot. The main bathroom includes a bath with shower over. The location suits those wishing to have a relaxing holiday by the pool or sea and also those wanting to explore the fascinating history and landscape of Cyprus. Bars, taverns, chemist & bank are close by fully air conditioned - split units for air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter - we also have a gas fire for those colder evenings. Breakfast bar & stools, oven/hob, fridge freezer, washing machine electric kettle, toaster, microwave, some fly screens. Hair-dryers, iron & ironing board safe - gym and sauna on site linen and towels provided please take your own pool/beach towels undercover parking space. Prophiti Elias (the prophet Elias) church found perched near the edge of the mountain side is soaked in legend and the natural beauty of the mountain begs to be explored – especially in the spring months when the wild flowers are in bloom and the scenery bursts into vibrant colour around you. Walking trails and picnic areas encourage residents and visitors alike to enjoy the breathtaking views of the village, nearby flamingo lake and Larnaca bay stretched out beneath and those taken by the charms of flora and fauna will be in their element. Venturing down to the Dhekelia road and beach front area of Oroklini you’ll find the hub of the tourist area. Luxury hotels line the sandy blue flag beaches and a whole host of entertainment to suit all ages and tastes is on offer as you would expect from a popular Mediterranean beach location. The choice of restaurants is really second to none with Greek and Cypriot tavernas, Italian trattorias, Lebanese, Chinese and sea-front fresh fish restaurants and what we can all attest to be the best Indian restaurant we’ve ever eaten at – Masalas (incidentally Peter Andre’s favourite restaurant in his native Cyprus!). There’s KFC, Pizza Hut and all of your usual suspects for quick fixes on a budget and a huge selection of bars and pubs to quench your thirst, entertain you and dance the night away in. If hitting the tourist area sounds like too much hard work be assured - simply sitting under the shade of the bougainvillea at sunset with a glass of wine in hand you’ll be content to stay until the crickets chorus in the evening and the stars appear in the clear night skies. Oroklini is a wonderful location for whatever your heart desires.

About Jill Wright
I am now retired and we live in South Lincolnshire with our dogs and just down the road from our family and 3 Grandchildren. When we go away they look after our 2 dogs for us so that they don't have to go into the kennels !! We spend as much time as possible out in Cyprus as it is our home from home as well and we like to think that our guests think it is homely, with excellent facilities, comfortable and above all clean.

Excellent Apartment, facilities and location
We loved this property - it's two lovely large balconies that catch the breeze and they look over the pool. I am not usually a "Pool" person but this one is gorgeous and it drew me in almost every day. It clean and warm most of the time and often it was just me swimming.
The apartment is so very comfortable with everything you can think of. We were able to drop our bags and thoroughly enjoy our stay. Jill, the owner. has thought of everything to make a stay super comfortable and it was.
Due to the close location of Goldfish beach, I was able to drive there to have my early morning run. It took at max 3-4 minutes.
There lots of places to eat close to the apartment or on the Dhekelia Road and the owners enjoy our favourites too. You do need a car to get around successfully, but car hire is cheap.
My wife has some difficult walking or climbing and there was a lift which always worked and never let us down. People were either cleaning the pool or sweeping up every day, which was also impressive.
The Aircon in our room leaked one evening and we reported it and it was mended by early the next morning. Impressive and caring - thank you! Plus I mucked up the safe code and that was also changed almost immediately. We had an amazing visit so thank you, Jill, Angela and all at the complex - you are a class act!

Super apartment - good location and parking
We chose this apartment for our first week in Cyprus to explore the east side of the island. The parking was allocated for the hire car and there are very quick links to the A2 to Nicosia, A3 to the Cape Gkreko area and A1 to Limassol. Nothing was more than an hour away tops. The apartment is well furnished and has a pool view and very good size balcony where atleast 6 people could eat out on it. The kitchen was well equipped, and internet can be paid for locally at a very reasonable rate. Two nice good size bathrooms and plenty of hot water due to the solar panels doing their job. The apartment is situationed in a village about half an hour away from the airport - with tarverns to eat in and a 24 hr bakery 5 mins walk and a supermarket. There is a little gym that can be used for free and the neighbors are very helpful - one having to arrange for his friend to jump start our hire car as the battery was dead due to owner error! The owner is also very helpful and all pre arrival paperwork is well organised. I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment.

Our welcomed return visit.
Following a 3 year break we returned to this property and was delighted to find it all as crisp and bright as our previous visit. Very little had changed (except some furnishing upgrades) the views from the balconies had changed slightly due to adjacent tree now offering some welcomed shading to the balcony.
Our arrival pack was supplied as requested (yes Keo beer, but after a long journey that was all we wanted).
The apartment was in a nice clean condition with everything supplied as previously arranged, the very comprehensive information folder was also used extensively during our stay.
The fully fitted kitchen allows you the choice of eating out or eating in, the local produce being very competitively priced especially at the new local store.
We enjoyed the authentic Greek style menu several times at NYK's and ventured to Cambonella's for a blow out Sunday lunch (too much for me).
There so many restaurants within a couple of miles that choice sometimes is very difficult.
During our visit the weather was abnormally hot so our favourite trip out was into the Trudoss mountains where the cooler, fresher air was very welcomed.
We would (and have already) recommend this apartment to our friends.

A real home from home
Having stayed in many apartments in Cyprus, this one was by far the most comfortable with a real feeling of home from home.
The apartment has everything you could possibly need (fans AND air con!!) and was located in a convenient place for both local amenities and for travelling further afield.
Would definitely book again!

Quiet area, with what you need nearby. Short drive to Larnaca and Ayia Napa. The apartment was clean and tidy. Fine furnish. The beds were hard, but it went smoothly. Children friendly. Maybe a little too quiet for youngsters. Clean pool in the middle of the complex. Very happy and would go back.

Coast/Beach: The nearest beach and the coast is approximately 1/2 mile away it takes 2/3 minutes in a car and approximately 15 minutes to do the downhill walk. The best beaches are a little further away one in Ayia Napa and the other at fig tree bay Protoras - however there is an excellent clean and quiet beach at Dhekalia which is available to visitors Travel: The nearest and closest airport is on the far side of Larnaca it takes around 20 minutes to reach the apartment by car - our British agents will do pick up's from the airport and the return journey we do recommend car hire to fully appreciate all that Cyprus has to offer. We can recommend car hire companies if you prefer to pick up a car at the airport and send driving directions. Further Details: We have a folder in the apartment with lots of information about local shops, restaurants, supermarkets and other places of interest that are located within easy travelling distance
