The Manor can accommodate 12 guests and 2 babies
The annex can accommodate a further 6 guests and is linked internally from the Manor. (extra cost of £400 per night over rates shown for extra 6 guests in the annex) PLEASE NOTE: The Manor can be rented out separately to The Annex but The Annex will never be rented out on its own, so there is no fear for guests just renting the manor house that you would have guests unknown to you in the annex.
Enter Irton Manor through electric gates and sweep up the majestic tree lined drive to our large comfortable country house.
Irton Manor is a beautiful designed Arts and Crafts building approximately 120 years old with many fine period features, set in 35 acres of garden, parkland and woodland where deer and badgers are often spotted.
Most downstairs rooms in the Manor have either bi-folding doors or french doors leading onto the south facing patio which runs the full length of the house and overlooks the gardens and far reaching views up to the Yorkshire Wolds.
There is a large exclusive use indoor heated swimming pool (10m x 5m) with 2 shower rooms chairs and loungers round the perimeter for relaxing or watching the children swim. PLEASE NOTE - due to strict insurance restrictions the swimming pool can only be open between the hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm - 7 days per week.
In the grounds are a hard tennis court, croquet lawn, 5 hole fun golf course for hacking around (tennis rackets and a few golf clubs provided,)
The heart of the house is a very large kitchen/family room with casual eating area and sofas and television which leads onto the elevated south facing patio through 2 sets of bi-folding doors the patio has table/chairs/sun umbrellas and gas BBQ.
The kitchen units are Italian designed with large American Subzero fridge/freezer with ice water and ice maker and large wine cooler, steam oven, normal oven, microwave and dishwasher, plus a boiling water tap and coffee machine. The Utility room has a washer and dryer. The kitchen has underfloor heating. (an additional chest freezer is housed in the garage)
The huge orangery which has large comfy sofas and TV with SKY package, Blue ray DVD player and large DVD library. The Orangery has underfloor heating, and air conditioning. The orangery leads into the dining room.
A characterful half panelled formal dining room with antique oak dining table and chairs with a crystal chandelier (which can be dimmed to add atmosphere) on those formal dining nights.
Next door to the dining room is the snug an oak panelled cosy sitting room for those relaxing moments.
There is a large games room with sofas for slouching on, table tennis table, Pool table, table football and a 42" TV with blue ray DVD player, Xbox 360 (with a few games), WII and Karaoke and it also has an upright piano.
A comfortable office area is adjacent to the front door with desk and comfy chairs.
A superb arts and crafts designed oak staircase has a magnificent original stain glass window on the half landing which the original owner of the house installed when it was built, it depicts John Peel on horse back, apparently it was a Turf Accountant who built the house but lost it all in a card game!!
The staircase leads to all the bedrooms on the first floor.
Bedroom 1 is fully wooden panelled (painted) with an attractive tiled fireplace and has a king size bed and a secret door into an ensuite shower room, has underfloor heating and heated towel rail.
Is the Master and has a super king bed, television in a pop up cabinet at the foot of the bed (with sky package), patio doors and a Juliet balcony, large dressing room with safe, ensuite bathroom has a large bathtub with a television set in the wall, twin sinks and a separate shower enclosure, has underfloor heating and heated towel rail.
Has a zip and link bed that can be made up as a super king or 2 singles (we think this room is a great family rooms with lots of room for cot/cot bed plus it has a small sofa bed it has an ensuite with a bath, has underfloor heating and heated towel rail.
Has a king size bed and patio doors with Juliet balcony and an ensuite bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle, has underfloor heating and heated towel rail.
THE EAST WING
BEDROOM 5 is in the East Wing along with bedroom 6 and is the ideal area for an older family, bedroom 5 has a king size sleigh bed and bedroom 6 has twin beds which can be joined together to form a super king bed, these 2 bedrooms share a bathroom with bath and a separate shower cubicle, has underfloor heating and heated towel rail.
All bedrooms face south except for Bedroom 1 which faces west.
The property has central heating and a most of the rooms downstairs have open gas fires.
All bed linen is white cotton and is hotel grade quality.
We offer complimentary Wi-Fi, however in some areas it can be a little poor we do have booster around but we are not in a great area.
Please note we have high chairs, cots, baby monitors, changing mats and a baby bath should you require them.
The cosy sitting room has a log burner (logs provided free of charge), Freeview TV, and bluray player.
The dining kitchen has a table which seats 6, electric cooker and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, toaster, and nespresso machine.

The annex is a cottage so proportions are not as large as the Manor but it has its own cosy charm and is perfect for extra family or friends who can choose to use its own facilities or step through into the Manor to join the rest of family.
Pricing for Annex Cottage £400 per night for 6 guests.
The annex is never rented out separately to the Manor House but guests can rent the Manor exclusively without the Annex for a maximum of 12 guests without fear of any other guests in the Annex.

Due to Insurance/Fire regulations we do not allow extra guest to stay on blow up beds or sleep on sofas. The guests originally named on the booking contract are the only guests allowed to stay for the full duration of the booking, we do not allow change of guests during that period.
We do not take Hen/Stag parties or groups of young people.
