4000 sq ft 5 bedroom house designed by Francesco Draisci studio. Contemporary open plan spacious villa with louvred openings to prevailing winds capture the breeze. Originally built 5 years ago as a family home, this is now a holiday home much loved by those who visit. The feel is light, spacious and relaxed. Set back 100m from the coast road the house has a private garden and looks onto palm trees, avocado, breadfruit and lush vegetation in the gulley. The house situated on a small local road and there is off street parking for several cars. We are a 5 minute walk to Paynes Bay beach which leads onto Sandy Lane. There are some of the best restaurants and bars within walking distance; The Cliff is at the end of the road and Daphne's is 5 minutes away.

Notes on accommodation: The accommodation is very clean and stylish, simple and relaxed. It is a self-catering villa popular with regular visitors as it is very well located and one of the few examples of modern architecture on the island. It is not air conditioned and cooled by the breeze and fans. Sited on a local road with very friendly neighbours it suits the visitor who wants a relaxed Barbados holiday. Outside: Private 33' x 15' swimming pool fully tiled in blue mosaics. The pool is a recent addition and has the latest salt water system so it is beautifully clear with no chlorine. There is a 20' sun terrace by the pool with the shade of the avocado tree overhanging. There is a private garden by the pool looking onto lush vegetation in the gulley. Utility Room: Washing machine, dryer, iron, ironing board, laundry sink. Maid comes twice a week and changes linen. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen included and changed weekly. Maid will come twice weekly, once to wash linen and once to clean house. Laundry can be done by maid at additional cost, or washing machine freely available to use. Other: Play area for children upstairs with toys and books.

Fantastic modern clean Villa with a great swimming pool !! But NO AIR CON :(

When we got there we were received very well by Franklin, him and his wife Juliet looked after us very well. Nothing was too much trouble they cleaned out the pool as soon as they could when birds fell in it .. also replaced the kettle and generally were very helpful..

The villa was clean modern and very spacious and they provided plenty of crockery, cutlery and towels.. We were a family of 9 staying

and we had plenty of space...

We absolutely loved it but only one set back that it had no Air Con although they provided us with floor fans in every room upstairs , downstairs

got really hot and there was not much breeze.. Also they need to provide mirrors in the bedrooms as we had to queue up to use the mirror in the

bathrooms. .. We could not access the WIFI on the top floor which was inconvenient as we had to stay downstairs to use our tablets and mobile phones..

These are the only negatives points apart from that I would definitely recommend this villa ideally for 9 to 10 people... We had a cockerel waking us up in the morning , monkeys in the garden and of course we were visited constantly by the dreaded mosquitoes !!

If the Air Con is put in I would have definitely given our villa five stars... !!!

5 minutes walk to beautiful Paynes Bay beach.

Sandy Lane beach can be accessed at low tide a further 10 minutes walk.


10 minutes south of Holetown.

20 minutes from Bridgetown.

45 minutes from the airport.

Taxis and buses available at the end of the road.

Car hire can be arranged and car dropped off at the house for no extra charge.


10 minutes to Holetown.

20 minutes to Bridgetown.

Further Details:

Many restaurants in walking distance.

One of the best restaurants on the island- The Cliff- is at the end of the road. Daphne's is 5 minutes walk. Mr Vics 10 minutes walk.

Local barbecues also close by- Mango Lime on Holders is 5 minutes away, Paynes Bay fresh fish fry in front of Church 10 minutes down the coast road.

Holders Hill farmers market is every Sunday morning. Fresh fish from Payne's bay fish market- just allow 20 minutes for Mrs Young to prepare and fillet the days catch.

Fireworks at New Years on Sandy Lane.

Holetown nightclubs and bars 10 minutes drive- please take a taxi back!
