Commanding outstanding views of the sand dunes at Perranporth, Sandbay 14 has direct access onto the beach and South West Coast Path. This renovated villa is set within a small development of purpose built holiday homes ideal for beach-going families. Approached via a narrow private driveway with a private parking space adjacent, the dunes and three miles of golden sands are just steps away. Sandbay 14 accepts one well behaved small to medium sized dog and has Wifi.
The accommodation comprises an equipped kitchen with ample work surfaces, electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine. The spacious lounge / diner affords views towards the sand dunes and is furnished with a sofa bed, two comfy armchairs, TV and DVD player, and a dining table with six chairs.
Upstairs are two bedrooms and the bathroom. Bedroom one has a double bed (4ft 6ins) and benefits from a balcony, while bedroom two provides two single beds and pine bunk beds (all 3ft). The bathroom is fitted with a bath with fixed shower over it, WC and basin.
The property is heated by electric night storage heaters, wall mounted convector heaters in the lounge, and two portable oil filled radiators. Parking for one car is allocated undercover solely for use of Sandbay 14. An additional parking space can be obtained at an extra cost of £10 per week. Please note that due to an archway the parking area is limited to 7' 4" height and 6' 7" wide.
Perranporth has a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants within a couple of minutes level walk and is served by local bus connections to Newquay, St.Agnes and Truro. Surf hire shops offering surfing lessons, riding stables, a gliding club, tennis courts and a golf course are all available locally. Padstow, St.Ives and Falmouth are all within a twenty-mile radius making this a popular property to use as a base for touring the north and south coast of Cornwall.
Please note this property does not provide towels or tea towels. Towels can be hired from us at £6 per person (one bath towel and one hand towel), or feel free to bring your own. Electricity is not included in the rental price and is operated by a £1 coin meter.
The Ponsmere Hotel (located in front of Sandbay Apartments) has now been demolished. The area is currently being rebuilt, with building work expected to continue into 2018. Please bear in mind when booking that some disruption may be unavoidable.
