There is ample parking for 2 cars on the road just outside the cottage. St Just is a walk over the fields (or a very short drive) away which has a co op, interesting galleries, a fish and chip shop, cafes and many pubs all serving good food. On the door step is Kenidjack valley most of which is managed by the National Trust and is a great place for exploring the old tin mining area and wildlife, finishing at a rocky cove close to Cape Cornwall and within walking distance of the tin mining area where Poldark has been filmed. Going inland there are moors where there is a Bronze Age stone circle.
Sennen Beach is about 4 miles away and is a well known surf beach. All around are fantastic beaches including Porthcurno; there is a beach for every day of the week!
