A perfect place to explore the Highlands and Islands from … just over an hour to Oban and the big ferry terminal or to Mallaig and the Skye ferry the same. Corran Ferry 10 minutes drive away and takes you to the spectacular Ardnamurchan peninsula with amazing scenery, oak woods, Britain’s most westerly mainland point (and light house) and the ‘short’ ferries to Mull.

Also, perfect base for Mountain Biking with the World Cup downhill course on Aonach Mor and many great mountain biking trails in the Forestry Commission woods around the area. For canoeing, mountain climbing, and photography!!

Notes on accommodation: property purchased in 2009 … why: as a perfect base for touring the Highlands and Islands … Unique benefits: modern, well insulated and comfortable but with amazing views and access to both town amenities and stunning countryside and activities. Outside: Tulips is surrounded by communal gardens and it has it's own bench seat with Loch views perfect for watching the sunset with a glass of something nice! Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and bed linen are included as are oven gloves, tea towels, dishcloths, toilet rolls, kitchen rolls, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid etc

This is a beautiful apartment in a great location. It is very tastefully furnished to a very high standard providing an extremely comfortable base for our holiday. It was very clean and there was a plentiful supply of toilet rolls, kitchen roll, tissue, serviettes etc so there is no need to take these with you. The beds were wonderfully comfortable! And of course there is the fabulous view. There really is nothing to dislike about Tulips it is five stars all the way. It is in an excellent location for exploring this lovely area. One suggestion if you don't want to drive into Fort William for food and drink in the evening try the Hotel Clan Macduff ( two minutes walk to the left) . They have a comfortable bar lounge with an amazing view and reasonable food.

Love it!

We have been using this flat for the past 5 years and we love it so much that we plan to continue to use for as long as we can. It is the perfect base to explore this part of beautiful Scotland. It has plenty of places to eat near by or a big supermarket in Fort Bill to take care of your self. The flat its self is excellent with great, clean facilities and amazing view. I have recommended it to all my friends and family who now recommend it to everyone they know as well!

We have stayed at this super luxury apartment over 4 years. Excellent quality of comfort throughout and thoughtfully equipped with everything one could need. A most beautiful location, fabulous views overlooking Loch Linnhe, a perfect base for walking, sightseeing, exploring the Highlands...or just relaxing!

Excellent Accommodation

We have stayed at Tulips twice and had a lovely stay each time. The apartment has everything needed to self cater and it is luxurious and clean

The kitchen/dining/sitting area is spacious and there are lovely views from the room. It's also quiet and the shower room is excellent.

As a base it is ideally situated and there is a large supermarket in Fort William. Cafe Mango is well worth a visit. We spent about four days exploring -Oban is a must. The scenery is breathtaking especially from Ben Nevis. We hired a car whilst there as we jad travelled by train and found the car hire company very helpful.

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 7 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
