12 Church Lane is a recently constructed 2 bedroom semi detached cottage in a position in Ely which is difficult to beat; the cathedral, Bishops Palace, Cromwells House and St Marys parish church are all yards away as are excellent restaurants and pubs.The cottage is fully equipped with quality appliances and is comfortably furnished.An air source heat pump provides underfloor heating which can be adjusted by thermostats in each room. There is allocated off road parking for a large car and a private patio garden. There is a spacious entrance hall with w.c. leading onto an open plan lounge/kitchen/dining room with patio doors to the rear. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms; the rear room has a double bed and overlooks the parish church; the front room has a double sofabed and overlooks Ely Cathedral. This can be used as a sitting room or bedroom depending the numbers of those staying. Also upstairs is a family bathroom with shower and w.c. The property has been newly equipped with quality items and provides a very comfortable base from which to explore Ely and surrounding area. We have provided a selection of books, DVDs and board games. The owners live locally and can help with any queries their guests may have.

We loved our stay here. The position is fantastic. The beautiful Cathedral out of one window and the parish church out of the other one. Town centre very close and small supermarket on the doorstep. Spotlessly clean and warm, with plenty of hot water. We cooked a lot and found everything we needed in the kitchen. Welcoming Christmas decorations when we arrived and a lovely tree in the garden. Also a plate of homemade mince pies! Delicious. On New Year's Eve we returned to find a clean cottage and two small bottles of Prosecco for us....very much appreciated. There is plenty of space, even when our granddaughter visited. Great to have a bathroom and a cloakroom.

Loved our stay
We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. The Cottage was clean, cute and well furnished and just what we needed for a quiet weekend away. When we were arrived there was a card from the owners and some home baked rocky road which was absolutely delicious (i meant to ask for the recipe), its was such a nice touch and made us smile. We cooked whilst we were there and there was all the appliances we needed and nice one at that! The cottage is in a nice quite area but walk-able to the cathedral which is very impressive and a short drive to Cambridge. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and if was going to be really picky I would say the bed was a bit hard but each to their own as some people prefer that. We contacted the owners once during our stay and they were very helpful and even let us have a late checkout on our departing day. I would definitely stay again.
We stayed in the property for two nights and had a great time .The owner was very approachable at the time of booking and arrival.We had everything we needed in the accomodation .We loved the cookies too ...Thanks a lot .
