Lazy Days is a huge lodge that has a full wall of glass doors and windows, and vaulted ceilings, making it bright and airy. The stream leading to the Lake is in front of the lodge, and the ducks swim up every day to be fed. The lounge/dining area and kitchen are all open plan.....very sociable! The kitchen has everything you need incl slow cooker, washing machine and dishwasher. The lodge has full central heating and double glazing and is lovely and warm even on the coldest Lake District days. The main bedroom has a king size bed, tv and en suite bathroom, the second bedroom has 2 single beds and drawers and wardrobes. The family bathroom has bath and shower and heated towel rail. This really is a superb, well located, very comfortable lodge, with plenty of outdoor space and in a position on the park that is only a 3 minute walk down to the Lake. You will not be disappointed!
Both of our lodges are large luxurious, contemporary style lodges, beautifully furnished, very well equipped and with top quality bedding and towels. Each lodge has a huge decking area on 3 sides and private parking for 2 cars. Both lodges are about a 3 minute walk down to the marina and the shores of Lake Windermere. Happy Days is our Pet friendly lodge, with gates fitted to keep your doggy safe.
Myself and my partner Anthony live in Preston with our 2 yorkies Freddie and Barney, we still both work full time, so unfortunately don,t get to spend as much time at the lodges as we would like, we can,t wait to retire then we can spend more time in the Lakes.
Kim purchased this cabin in 2012
We had 3 fab holidays at White Cross Bay, before we took the plunge and bought Lazy Days Lodge. We looked at quite a few but as soon as we walked into Lazy Days we knew this was the one.....its so bright and airy with a full wall of glass, and the fact it had the stream in front of it and the ducks were swimming away in front of the decking , we just fell in love with it and bought it the same day.
2years later Happy Days came up for sale.......this was different it was a project! The lodge was in a bit of a state but we saw the potential......so over the closed season we gutted it, and did a complete refurb, and the result is stunning. Happy Days is now a bright contempary style lodge lodge, very comfortable and everyone that stays loves it.
Both lodges benefit from being very large, ideal for families or 2 couples. The decking areas on them both are some of the largest to be found on White Cross Bay, and we have quality outdoor furniture on them both.
It is only a 3 minute walk to the lake from either lodge and a similar time to walk to reception and the leisure facilities.
Whichever oidge you choose.....we guarantee you won,t be disappointed......some guests have stayed in both.....but can,t decide which they prefer!

This was our fourth stay at Lazy Days and the owners have continued to provide a high standard of accommodation with recent improvements to the facilities and décor. The location of the lodge in the park is ideal in a quiet location just a short walk to the main reception and leisure complex and also to the lake shore for sunset views across Windermere.
Beautiful property in a lovely location. Real home from home comforts everything you could ask for, extremely well maintained and clean. Second visit to this site which has everything you could want. Would definitely return and recommend. Thank you
This is a wonderful property. We have returned every year since 2013. The decor and layout is unbelievable. The lounge/dining area is beautifully light and fresh and the kitchen has everything you could wish for. The decking area has a beautiful large oval table and chairs plus a small table and chairs where we, despite the time of year managed to have breakfast. The new bathrooms are modern and of a high spec. Comfortable beds with quality bed linen make the bedrooms welcoming and relaxing. This lodge has a modern bright aspect but is also cosy and welcoming. I could not recommend it highly enough.
The property has always always been spotlessly clean when we arrived with lovely touches of tea, coffee, milk and juice.
White Cross Bay has facilities for swimming, bar, restaurant and play areas for children and is of course well situated for all the activities the Lake District offers.
Kim who owns the property provides excellent customer service and makes herself available by providing phone number and email contact.
We have and continue to recommend this property to family and friends.
Fantastic log cabin well kept with everything we needed. Loved the quiet area and little stream. Will definitely be back
Spent three nights in Lazy days from the 6th Jan 2017, as a post Christmas wind down, it worked a treat. From the moment we opened the door it felt very, very comfortable, so much so it was difficult to go even out. The Chalet was very well looked after, very clean had everything you needed and on entry was warm and welcoming. The weather while we where there wasn’t great but it didn’t matter just wanted to look out of the windows and watch in style. I would highly recommend Lazy Days to anyone.
Lazy Days lodge has everything you could want or need. My family and I decided to have a mini break after the chaos of Xmas. We wanted somewhere we could unwind, distress yet still have all our home comforts...lazy days lodge was absolutely perfect for this. The location is an ideal base for whatever you choose to do whilst in the lakes. The lodge itself is beautiful, the decor is tastefully done and is fully equipped with everything you could want.
We will most definitely be returning but next time it will be for longer. We really didn't want to leave.
Lake Windermere is a 3 minute walk from the lodges.
