Our two Cottages, Byre & Bramble both sleep 4 people but we can also provide a put up bed if required. Byre & Bramble are situated in the beautiful unspoilt valley of Seathwaite, with the cascading Duddon River a stones throw away. The cottages have panoramic views of Caw fell, Harter Fell, Birker Fell & Coniston Old Man. Fifteen minutes walk away, you'll find the Newfield Inn Pub, which is well known for its excellent ales and appetising food.

About the property


Byre & Bramble were originally one farm building converted into two cottages, both have fantastic views and walks. The owners also live only 5yrds away for any help with your stay.

About Garry Brockbank

I have been a builder for 40yrs and have converted the cottages myself which were old farm buildings. I was born and bred in the area and therefore have a vast knowledge of the area especially to give guidance for anyone who is into walking or drives out. I also live 5yrds from all the properties so I am on hand for any problems that might arise.
