Large,Beautiful detached 2 bedroom open plan "upside down" Barn conversion, designed to make the most of the amazing views which surround it. Privately Situated within easy access of the town of Wellington Somerset, it has it's own 1 acre enclosed paddock. Little Owl Barn has ample room for secure off road parking in the gated courtyard and secure garage. Little owl Barn is ideally located for those who wish to explore Somerset and nearby Devon. There are plenty of country walks nearby and activities near by. The property is also set in an ideal bird watching area . There are lots of local attractions including Sheppys Cider and several National Trust properties. The North or South coast can also be reached in approx. 30 minutes by car. Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks are also within a short driving distance. The City of Exeter with its Cathedral and superb range shops is well worth a visit and only a short drive away. Taunton - the county town with a range of shops, cafes, bowling alley and cinema is just 7 miles away. Local Shops, pubs and restaurants are all within 1 mile including Waitrose.

There is a child gate at the top of the stairs. Outside 1 acre private, secure Paddock, Gravel patio and established Rockery. Secure garage for cycle storage or car, has water tap for hosing wellingtons and dogs. Utility Room: Hoover, Iron, Ironing Board, light bulbs, Extensive range of crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking utensils Cleaning / Towels / Linen. Towels and Bed linen are provided. The property is cleaned prior to arrival and on vacating. Bed/towel changing service for stays over 1 week available. Other: Large 1 acre private paddock. Well behaved, vaccinated dogs welcome at additional charge of £30 for 1st dog,£10 for 2nd etc. Dog crates available.

Beautiful, comfortable and luxurious. Complete WOW factor.

We stayed in Little Owl Barn for the week before our son's wedding. For this very special week in the life of our family, it was our delight to make the Barn our home. The extremely spacious layout and enclosed outdoor grassy areas with picnic tables, coupled with a kitchen equipped with lots of lovely ceramics enabled us to host many of our family and friends with ease. It was great to have lots of off-road parking, and we loved the architecture of the modern twist on an ancient barn and spectacular views across the peaceful Somerset countryside. Finally, we must mention the really beautiful furniture...we've never slept in such an impressive bed!

Fantastic!!!

Fantastic immaculate barn conversion. Has everything you need to make your stay exceptional. We were greeted by Phillip a short while after arriving and he was very helpful in recommending some local restaurants, shops and attractions, all of which were excellent. The barn is central to most of the attractions which can all easily be accessed. We would definitely recommend the Little Owl Barn and will definitely return again!!

Gorgeous property

Very clean and spacious property, fully enclosed garden and very dog friendly. Phil and Sarah are excellent hosts, and are always available to answer any questions. Will definitely be returning again and would definitely recommend this barn to others

Beautiful and spacious

We have just enjoyed a lovely week's holiday in this clean and spacious upside-down converted barn in a beautiful rural location. There was everything there that you need to have an excellent holiday and lots of space outside for our busy working cocker spaniel! We particularly liked feeding the horses nearby and walking down the country lanes, as well as taking longer trips to the seaside in north and south Somerset. We would definitely recommend a day's rover ticket on the West Somerset Railway - great fun! The owner was very helpful and friendly. We look forward to a return visit.

Lovely upside down barn conversion

Myself and my partner along with my parents and their Scottie dog "Ruby" stayed at this lovely upside down barn for 4 days.

Good communication and directions were sent via email before arrival. The owner met my parents on arrival showing them around and left some loungers to sit in the garden to soak up the Somerset sun.

The barn was well equipped, spotlessly clean and tidy. This is a credit to the owners. The view from the garden looks over the Blackdown hills to the Wellington Monument and is a totally relaxing place to stay. Its only a few minutes drive from Wellington town centre and about 20 minutes to Taunton. This was a perfect location for us and we enjoyed our stay.

We would totally recommend this barn it was perfect for 4 adults. One bedroom with ensuite and the other bedroom had two single beds that were made into a king size bed with the bathroom outside. The upstairs is open plan has two very comfortable leather settees in the lounge area with two patio doors opening up onto the garden. The kitchen/dining area had everything you needed.

Beautiful setting and 5 star accommodation

Stayed at Little Owl Barn for 4 nights, it is very clean and comfortable and has lovely views.

We enjoyed walking along the footpaths around the barn, and into Wellington itself. The Holywell is a 20 minute walk along the lanes and the food is very good, we can also recomend the butcher in Wellington.

Philip and Sarah were very friendly and accommodating and we would highly recommend this property.

Booking can be made via email or telephone and will be confirmed by receipt of deposit via Bank Transfer or Cleared cheque. Holidays must be paid for in full 4 weeks before the beginning of holiday. If a short notice booking is taken the holiday must be paid for at time of booking. Dogs are welcome and are charged at £30 for 1 dog, additional dogs at £10 each.

Changeover Day:
Any day of the week is fine with us after 4 pm - vacation is by 10 am on departure day.
