About Martin Burns

We are a semi retired couple and live close to this lovely property. We maintain it to a very high standard. It is really well placed for all services and has great facilities.We have enjoyed equipping it with top quality fittings from the Egyptian cotton bedding to the large screen TV.

HomeAway/Owners Direct have recently introduced a "Service Charge" of at least 6% . You can avoid paying this by booking directly with us. In this case we ask that you pay the deposit and final payment by bacs or paypal. You can see that we have been listed for 5 years with many reviews.

We stayed at the bungalow for a week and really enjoyed our stay there. The owners even left some bread, eggs, butter and milk for us upon our arrival. This was really appreciated after a very long drive with kids! It's spacious, tastefully decorated with a peaceful garden that was brilliant to relax in when we decided to take it easy from the sightseeing. We would definitely come back to stay again if we are in the area again.

We had a wonderful time. The property is very well cared for and we had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. A car is recommended as although there are some shops within walking distance, to get to the train station or larger shopping areas, you really need to drive/take a bus. The owners left a lovely welcome pack of essentials and there was loo roll, washing/cleaning equipment and soap etc. left for us to use which we appreciated. We would definitely come back here and/or recommend it to others.

Ideal location for accessing age appropriate activities for my grandchildren aged 3, 6 and 9 years.

A fantastic property, we'll stay here again!

The Dapples is extremely spacious with a beautiful modern interior and excellent parking - a real gem of a property. We stayed here with our baby and toddler while visiting family in the local area, but the huge rooms and amazing garden would easily accommodate a group of adults. The owners are a pleasure to deal with - there was a card and welcome basket waiting for us which was a lovely surprise, and our deposit was returned extremely quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone visiting the area, we will certainly be staying here again.

We stayed at the Dapples cottage for 3 months when we relocated back to the UK. Lovely, clean, neat home with loads of space. Martin was very kind and welcoming and catered to our every need. The house was cleaned weekly and bedding changed too.

This house is fully loaded with all amenities you could need.

Great little garden for soaking up the summer rays.

There is no train station nearby, but there are buses going into Kingston and Epsom.

The house is close to a brand new Aldi, Tesco Direct and a spa.

The best part of the location is the proximity to the Hogsmill. We spent many afternoons walking song the river.

We very much enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone.
