Located just 10 metres from Treyarnon beach, this is a lovely comfortable house with a large garden. The balcony and all upstairs rooms offer stunning views across the beach to Trethias Island and the Atlantic ocean. The property has central heating and double glazing so is a great place to visit in both summer and winter. Space for 4 cars with off road parking. Well behaved dogs are very welcome!

We bought this property because of the great location. Just 10 meters from the beach, and 50 meters from the Treyarnon Bay shop you have everything you want at your fingertips.

What makes this house unique

Atlantic House is the perfect place to go to get away from it all. You can either relax and wind down, or fill your time with activities like surfing, or golf. Being so close to the sea gives Atlantic House a fantastic view over Treyarnon Bay, with a lovely balcony to enjoy watching the sun go down from. There is plenty of space to relax in with a good sized garden and lots of living space to spread out in.

Atlantic House Treyarnon Bay

This was a family holiday and the house was excellent and had everything you could want and more. A chocolate gateaux awaited us in the fridge!

Our age ranges were from 75 down to 3 years and everybody was catered for in the well equipped rooms.

A fantastic house in an incredible location.

I'm slightly reluctant to write how wonderful Atlantic House is for fear of it getting all booked up! The house had absolutely everything we needed and was far better equipped than any other rental property we have taken. It is also more homely and welcoming. There are too many good things to list individually but above all the incredible views, the very well-equipped kitchen and the heated outdoor shower for a post-surf warm up all stand out in our memories! We loved it and hope to return.

A hidden Cornish gem

Atlantic House is a beautiful Victorian family home that really is only a few steps from the beach. There is an amazing hut on the beach that is open all year round that sells literally everything, but there are some lovely farm shops close by selling lots of local produce. If you cant be bothered to drive out Tesco will deliver to the door :- ) I would however recommend an evening at Jamie Olivers in Watergate. Lots of other beautiful beaches close by and some amazing coastal footpaths. Whatever the weather, it is a lovely bolt hole. We did not want to leave, will be returning at some point in the future.

Fabulous House

The house was perfect for a family holiday, due to its excellent facilities and ease at which it catered for our three families, the amenities are second to none... not to mention the location. (about 50 yds from the beach!!)

A very clean and well maintained house, with 2 well sized lounges and a large kitchen dining area, as well as a massive garden with large patio area and brick built barbecue, there is was ample room for all 11 of us.

All in all i can't say enough about this house and it's location, and we all cannot wait for our next holiday there.

Perfect, and very highly recommended.

Lovely character house in ideal location

Atlantic house was perfect for our extended family holiday (ages 2 to 85!). The 2 tv lounges were great for differing requirements for youngsters and oldies!

The well equipped dining kitchen was perfect for family meals. The children and dogs loved running and playing in the large garden.

We have been holiday in the area for many years now, and this comfortable house is one we would love to return to.

We did have a few maintenance issues... the toilet in the attic suite wasn't flushing when we arrived, and that was rectified within a couple of days. Several light bulbs in the kitchen were not working, but again rectified fairly promptly. The washing machine broke during our first week, but was replaced at the start of our 2nd week with a very efficient new machine. None of these issues would deter us from returning, However, the septic tank had to be emptied during our stay, which was not pleasant.....perhaps this is something that could be arranged between lets in the future, with the cleaners able to deal with the aftermath?

Overall, a lovely holiday in an ideal location right next to the beach. Hope to return next year.

Coast/Beach:

The house is 10 meters from Treyarnon beach which is a great family friendly beach, with lifeguards all summer. There are plenty of rock pools for crabbing, and waves for surfing.

There are lovely coastal walks right on your doorstep. If you head to the South you will reach the stunning Bedruthan Steps after about 4 miles, and if you head to the North you will reach Trevose Head Lighthouse after about 2.5 miles. You can continue South to Watergate Bay or North to Padstow if you like.

Travel:

Newquay airport is a 15 minute drive (taxis available).

Bodmin Parkway rail station is a 40 minute drive and has a bus service.

A car is the best method of getting around.

Distances:

St Merryn is the nearest village, 2 miles away. There are a few shops, a garage and a couple of restaurants, including the great Fryer Tuck's fish and chips.

Padstow is a lovely fishing village with a lot of shops and restaurants and activities on offer. There is a ferry to Rock across the estuary for sailing and water skiing. It is very popular to cycle the Camel trail (cycles for hire) to Wadebridge or further to Bodmin and back. Mackerel fishing trips and boat rides are also available.

Further Details:

The Treyarnon Bay shop is just 50 meters away and its owner, Gary, is very helpful and will get you anything you need. He has a basic stock of goods, newspapers and all essentials for the beach.

Constantine Bay Stores is a larger grocery store with almost everything you could want. Daily delivery of lovely fresh bread and rolls and croissants. Wine and beer are available. It is located right next to Trevose Golf Club approximately 1/2 mile from Treyarnon.

In St Merryn - 1.5 miles - there are 2 grocery shops and a garage which has a

mini hardware shop in it. Good fish and chips.

Padstow has a large Tesco at the top of the hill. There are various art, clothes, pottery, gift, food, fudge, pasty and ice cream shops; also a few Banks, a newsagent and a chemist.

In Padstow Rick Stein has 4 restaurants, a delicatessen, patisserie and gift shop.

The other part of the garden has plenty of space for ball games, or you can relax on the sun loungers. There is also a picnic table with benches. There is also an outside hot and cold shower by the back door for getting off the sand from the beach. Other: Upstairs is a large balcony with a wooden table and 10 chairs. A chimenea fire helps keep you warm here in the evenings, while it is positioned to catch the sun all day.
