The apartment has a spacious living/dining room with views over the Solent & River Medina. fully equipped kitchen again with views. 3 bedrooms, 1 double on on the living room level and 2 upstairs, 1 with kingsize beds and views, and 1 with twin beds, bathroom with toilet, and shower on this level. Shower room and toilet on the lower floor. There is also a south facing terrace with BBQ & garden furniture, perfect for a breakfast outside in the sun, or an evening BBQ.

About Anna Finey

We bought this apartment as a holiday home/weekend getaway after enjoying some short stays in Cowes. We live in Surrey with our 2 children and Black Labrador.

Year Purchased; 2009, remodelled 2010

We love coming to the flat but cannot get over as often as we would like, so are opening up the flat so others may enjoy it and all that Cowes and the Isle of Wight has to offer. We use the flat for weekend getaways, summer holidays, and a base for festivals. As we use the apartment, the facilities in the apartment are extensive providing home from home experience

Why Anna Finey chose Isle of Wight

We bought in Cowes as there is always something going on, and there are excellent transport links to the Mainland, for a quick weekend away, use the Red Jet from Southampton to Cowes, and with the amenities in Cowes there is no need to go elsewhere. or alternatively use the Red funnel or Wightlink car ferries offering very regular sailings.

We chose this apartment due to the views and space available, we had it extensively remodeled in 2010, including having soundproofing put in between us and the flat downstairs, moving the kitchen to the middle of the flat so we can enjoy the views and converting the loft space to 2 bedrooms and a bathroom.

The facilities are extensive, and offers great space, whether for a couple or small group of people or a larger family.

Notes on accommodation: There is heating to every room although this is a very warm flat being well insulated and situated in the middle of the terrace. There is proper sound proofing between us and the flat below. Outside: There is a south facing terrace with BBQ and garden furniture. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels, Tea towels and Bed Linen included. Beds will be made up for arrival. Please supply your own beach towels and bedding for the extra mattress if you wish to use, Price includes cleaning of Apartment on departure Other: There are 2 folding bikes available, please bring helmets & lock. In the hallway, there is a large coir mat as you enter the flat and hooks for coats.

Perfect flat, beautifully clean.

Great location, everything clean and beds made when we arrived. Anna was very helpful in providing great information before we arrived as I was concerned about parking our car nearby. We had no problems finding somewhere to park at all. Location was great as I have 4 teens who could pop out when they wanted to and go for a walk or pop to the shops. We found some lovely restaurants, although if you wanted to cook in the flat there is everything you could need. A perfect spot for a relaxing stay.

Superb location and accommidation

We stayed here for four days at the beginning of January. This property is certainly a 'home from home' with lots of little touches not found in other holiday accommodation. The standard of the accommodation and the location is superb. Coupled with an extremely helpful pleasant owner - what more can you ask for? Highly recommended !

Lovely, well-equipped, central accommodation

The apartment was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was very well equipped and provided everything we needed.

The information provided by Anna was very accurate, and answered any questions we had about the accommodation and the area. The advice notes on parking were especially useful! Anna was also very helpful when we contacted her with a couple of queries.

The apartment was centrally located for the lively High Street and many restaurants. We ate at Coast twice and had good meals on both occasions.

A very enjoyable, comfortable stay.

The flat is well positioned for sailing activity in Cowes, very close to the yacht haven southern entrance and more or less above the Beken shop. It has been very well renovated in what we regarded as a tasteful contemporary style, and is well equipped and well maintained. Good views over the Solent, especially from the top bedroom. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location for Crew lets for Sailing Regattas such as Round the Island, Cowes Week, Little Britain Cup, or if you would like to do a Sailing course/ Paddle Boarding via UKSA or one of other sailing schools.

Cowes Beach is a 10 minute walk via the high street. Beach is pebbles but there is a large grassy bank to sit and have a picnic on. This provides the perfect vantage point to watch the many sailing events. There is a beach shop & take away cafe at Cowes Beach or if you carry on round Princes Parade past Egypt point to Gurnard beach, there is a beach side cafe and a pub


Red Jet high speed passenger ferry terminal is less than 5 min walk from apartment & offers a 23min crossing to Southampton. Very frequent Bus service from Cowes to Newport or you can cycle to Newport on the cycle track on the site of the old Railway along the edge of the Medina River

Booking Notes:
Once you have made a provisional booking direct with us, we will send you a contract to be signed and returned together with a 25% non refundable deposit. Your booking will be held for 7 days and is not confirmed until we received cleared funds for the deposit.

Foreign payments by direct transfer only due to slowness of British banks processing foreign cheques. If you confirm booking, I will forward my BIK & IBAN code.

The balance must be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival, together with a returnable security deposit of £250 ( £500 for Cowes Week); this will be returned on confirmation that there is no damage, the key's returned & no additional cleaning.

Changeover Day:
Preferred changeover day is a Friday or Monday, but we will try and be as flexible as we can.
Arrival time is after 3pm and departure by 10am
