The cabins are very new, having just opened in summer 2012.
Bedroom 1 is a double room with a large en-suit shower and toilet. Views from the bedroom look south from the elevated position across the Bay of St Andrews and the rolling countryside beneath.
Bedroom 2 & 3 are twin rooms with beds that can be made up as doubles or twin singles. The bedrooms are on one level and share the bathroom. Each room enjoys wonderful views across our family farm> what better way to wake up than to see the sheep or horses grazing in the paddock.
There is a shared bathroom with bath and overhead drench shower and handheld rose. The en-suit bathroom has a large easy access cubicle with overhead drench and handheld rose. Both showers are power showers with much of the hot water being provided by solar panels.
The new kitchen forms part of the open plan living area. Equipment includes gas range hobs, electric fan assisted oven, microwave, integrated fridge/freezer and dishwasher.

The two luxury eco-cabins were built as a means of diversifying on the 3rd generation family farm.
There is nothing not to love about the area. Seclusion, ease of access and complete peace and tranquility are all available at St Andrews Country Cabins. It is the stunning views towards the Bay of St Andrews and the quiet rural location set amongst the rolling hills of north east Fife, that really set the properties and location apart from others in the area.

"Could Stay Forever": The view was worth waiting .....stunning , quite literally panoramic. The location and setting of cabin were perfect . As for the cabin itself , it really could not be faulted. So many thoughtful touches in conjunction with high quality fixtures and beautiful soft furnishings contributed to a quite unique feeling of comfort and luxury rolled into one. The owner, Stephen was so very welcoming and charmingly attentive. Nothing was too much trouble.
"Trip of a Lifetime": I must say, this cabin exceeded our expectations!!! Where do I start? Location was ideal the setting was breath taking, it was decorated beautifully,(loved the fresh flowers on the dinning table) also had plenty of room. IT"S A MUST STAY LOCATION.
"Best accommodation we've ever used": Superb short holiday in probably the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. The location and views are second to none, the cabin is great and the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. And we heard owls at dawn and saw kestrels hunting at dusk!
"First time": These are by far the best cabins we have ever stayed in. Indeed to describe them as cabins is a grave injustice these are 5 star in any Holiday makers experience. We will be returning.
"Wow, wow, wow": Second visit to the cabins -it was all I remembered and now we have the sheep too! The cabin is a home from home with everything you need. I love it so much I want to live there. A week wasn't long enough to fit in golf, Edinburgh Zoo and touring St Andrews. You need to make time to sit and enjoy the view. Breath taking, even in the cold, sat outside with a glass of wine and a blanket and watching the sun go down and then the stars.
"Just stunning": We stayed here in September, during the Ryder Cup. The accommodation was superb, everything you could possibly need, and the decor was finished to an extremely high standard. The views over St Andrews were stunning, and we had an amazing time. Our 4 children loved being outside in the country, and the younger ones loved the climbing frame! There are amazing walks to go on, and just a 10 minute drive into St Andrews. Stephen and Amanda couldn't have been more helpful, and we can't wait to go back...we have already booked our next weekend. You will not be disappointed.
"Family Holiday": As we couldn't get our usual place booked I found St Andrews country cabins. We had a lovely week. The cabins are really comfortable and well thought out. Importantly the beds are comfortable. Everything you need for a self catering holiday is provided including good gas barbecue. The panoramic views are something quite special. The kids loved the park and our doggy loved the walks round about the farm. We liked it so much that we have booked three weeks next year!
"It was Perfect": Calling it a gem, is an understatement. Everything exceeded our expectations and I can't say enough about the cabin. Truly the best customer service i have ever had.
