Apartment In Estrela Da Luz, Praia Da Luz, Western Algarve

A great apartment in a fabulous location close to the beach. It is clean, spacious & furnished to a very high standard.

This was the first time we booked a self catering apartment, we were not disappointed. The lounge area was huge, settee, two chairs plus a table with six seats. Large TV with satellite and a good selection of DVD's, a welcome as we were not blessed with great weather. The kitchen had washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and more than enough crockery & glasses. The patio was again large, two sun loungers plus table and four chairs, a lovely place to enjoy the morning sun.

The bed was large and comfortable with additional pillows and blankets and plenty of storage. The bathroom was possibly a little small compared to the rest of the property but more than adequate, the shower was fabulous, really powerful.

The welcome back left me speechless, she even left us an Easter egg, how thoughtful and kind.

The indoor pool and sauna were great, especially as it wasn't really warm enough to sit out.

There are a fabulous array of bars and restaurants within a ten minute walk; our favourite watering hole was BarT, a small friendly bar run by an English lady, really friendly and great value,, great selection of gin.

I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to stay in this resort.

Myself and my friend spent a few days in this apartment and it was fabulous. Very clean and fully equipped.

The aircon and underfloor heating were great when the evenings got a bit chilly. The resort itself was very quiet so this made for relaxing holiday. The staff were very helpful and i loved how secure the complex is.

Sitting in the sun at the end of November cannot be beaten.

I will definitely be back to stay again.

Luz is a lovely small village in western Algarve - there is alot to see and explore if thats what you like to do. August was not humid or too hot, a constant cooling breeze everywhere. Estrela Da Luz has good facilities - a compact but well equipped gym, beautiful indoor pool with sauna. Underground parking, lifts & security. It has an adult out door pool and at a lower level a below 16 yr old pools. The apartment is a large one bedroom with great kitchen and comfortable lounge room. It has an extra large patio which gets all the morning sun. Spotlessly clean and well presented - I would love to stay again! Only a 10 min drive from Lagos centre. The pool area is quite 'compact' so in August it was full - we went to different beaches every day instead - I guess thats August for you!

Great apartment in a beautiful resort complex.

Nice and quiet and the balcony terrace was lovely and large so I could sit in the shade while my wife could sunbathe.
