The stunning sea and valley views, beautiful surrounding countryside, quiet beaches and quaint villages must also be mentioned. All in all, Coastguard Cottage is a well loved and treasured holiday home and is the perfect Cornish self-catered holiday choice for families, couples or friends who wish to get away from it all, at any time of the year. As an end-of-terrace former Coastguard Cottage, the accommodation comprises three storeys, three double bedrooms, large lounge, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, family bathroom and two en suites. Outside includes parking for 3/4 cars, a large wild garden, elevated decking and BBQ. From the welcoming local St Keverne pubs and organic farms and restaurants, to the fantastic Lizard Peninsula coastal walks, beaches and harbour villages, there is plenty to do and see. Rural but not inconvenient, you have St Keverne 1 mile away (with local pubs, stores, deli, butcher and post office), Helston Tesco 20 minutes drive away, or a large Asda near Falmouth, 40 minutes away. We are pet friendly, and about 2.5 hrs down from Exeter. It is certainly worth the drive!

About Catherine King
I live in Feock, Cornwall and own and rent out two delightful three bedroom cottages, in St Keverne on the Lizard Penninsula and in the equally popular north coast village of St Agnes. Having a young family, we ensure that the cottages are practical and easy for families to come to as we understand the pressures of travelling with children! They both have high chairs / travel cots for your use as well as separate rooms for teenagers so that everyone can have a bit of personal space. Lovely gardens with decking also.
Why Catherine King chose Saint Keverne
Homely practical comfortable and characterful.
What makes this Cottage unique

Cosy, secluded, spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable with excellent quality linens.
This holiday was important to us as a family. We had dreadful weather but a great time. The cottage is well placed for walks and great to return to after exploring in all directions of the peninsula. The first time the bogs aloft were used in the night we all ended up in hysterics of laughter as we had never experienced bog pumps before. The garden is beautifully maintained and it was a shame the weather prevented us from using it more. Nice selection of books, my husband is doing guitar grades and was delighted to find helpful music books.
All together.....not sure what we expected...but...we had a lovely week in great surroundings which were above all, peaceful. A truly characterful cottage, thank you.
Also food was good in both St Keverne Pubs. Very good steaks.
Loved this cottage
We spent the last week of June in this cottage, 5 adults and 2 dogs. Plenty of room for us all. Lovely walks on your doorstep. We had 3 wet days so the open fire was a real bonus. Lovely garden for the dogs. The stony beach is a 2 minute walk down hill, a bit longer coming back up! We visited both pubs in St.Keverne for food and took part in their quiz's. Great pub food and we enjoyed the quiz's. Both pubs are dog friendly. We also enjoyed fish and chips from the van that visits St. Keverne on Fridays.
Excellent stay at Coastguards
Comfortable, warm, fully equipped. Pleasant garden for the dogs.
Quiet cosy warm cottage in good location for exploring.
Compared to other holiday cottages we have stayed in recently we found this cottage needed a little TLC.
