|Minimum Stay||3 - 7 nights|
Lower Kingole has 4 large reception rooms, including the Dining-room in an original Round House. These spacious rooms are all upstairs, thus making the most of the stunning views over the valley. The house is secluded, but within 1 mile of the picturesque village of Lerryn, and a 10 minute drive to Fowey, via the Bodinnick car ferry. There are 6 bedrooms, that sleep 14 people. There are two bathrooms (one en suite), one shower room, and a further toilet.
William and Janet Taylor
Janet Taylor purchased this barn in 1949
The property has been in the family for generations and was completely renovated in 1995. Our family have been holidaying here for the last 25 years - it is just as good for children as for teenagers and adults. We think that it is one of the prettiest, least spoiled, parts of Cornwall - equally good in Summer and Winter.
The oak dining table in the Round House is unique. It seats 14 easily, and is a wonderful place to eat, with an open fire and views across the fields. The kitchen is very well equipped - and looks over the enclosed courtyard, the trampoline and the beautiful valley. As the house has a sitting room (with open fire) and a playroom (with wood-burning stove), there is plenty of room for everyone to relax inside the house.
A short drive from Lantic Bay, Pencarrow Head, an idyllic cove on the south coast of Cornwall, below the south west coastal path. There are also many beaches in and around Fowey, and Looe.
