We are a family running this small accommodation business in the Forest of Dean and loving living here.
Claire & Darren Scales purchased this apartment in 2008
This is a beautiful, unspoilt area. We love walking Daisy-dog; heading one way into the Forest of Dean and the other across rolling farmland and rural estates. It is wonderfully quiet here without lots of other holidaymakers around.
We are right on the borders - of Wales and England; Herefordshire and Gloucestershire and the Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean.
It's obvious why the first tourist guidebook in the world was written about this area and the Wye Tour.
Whilst in a tranquil spot it is easy to reach being on the same road as the tourist attraction Symonds Yat Rock. The most amazing thing for a Forest of Dean site is the incredible panoramic views - pretty unique in this area.
There are superb pubs in walking distance and an easy drive to a whole range of attractions and lovely small towns like Monmouth.
"My partner and I stayed here with our dog back in April 2014 and had a marvellous time. The apartment was very spacious, clean and perfectly appointed."
“Exactly what we wanted and superbly equipped and maintained.”
"Warm, friendly hosts, comfortable room, delicious breakfast and fantastic location and view from the garden! Within easy reach of good pubs and the forest is just over the road! Would recommend to anyone."
