We bought this house so we can retire here! It is quiet, secluded, yet very close to Loddon which has all the basic amenities. Norwich, and the coast are 20 mins by car and it is ideal for exploring all of Norfolk and Suffolk. The garden is amazing, with a big terraced area, and lots of outdoor seating as well as a secluded courtyard garden with table and chairs. The house looks over the garden to the south and west, so gets the sun the whole day. Inside the master bedroom has a breathtaking panoramic view towards the old church over the grazing marshes. You can often see lots of local wildlife including deer, owls etc in the garden and fields beyond.Downstairs is mostly open plan with big windows. There is a new conservatory with double doors onto the terrace. the big trifold doors can be pulled back so it becomes part of the living room.The living room has a 50 inch TV and WIFI is included so you can stream anything you want! There are lots of family games in the house for both indoor and outdoor types.The kitchen has an electric cooker with gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave etc. The downstairs of the house has been altered so that people with some disability can get around (ramp to the door) and large wet room with walk in shower.

We farm at Earsham, with traditional arable and outdoor pigs.We are very conscious of the wildlife and work hard to make this a wildlife friendly farm. Simon won the British Pig farmer of the Year 2014. Our sausages are available for you to try from the freezer. I used to run a B&B here until recently. Now I want to concentrate on my sculpting ( mainly animals and people),and gardening. All 3 of my children are grown up and live away. 2 are married with children. Time flies!

We bought the property and refurbished it in 2008.It was my parents home before my dad came to live with me after Mum died. Several people tried to buy it, one local described it as "the best plot in Loddon". We are local farmers and will eventually want somewhere to retire to! We thought this property had a superb location, close to several places to eat, with all the basics available in the little town. It is very friendly with a lovely village atmosphere. My dad lived here for 14 years and was very happy. It has a low crime rate and the scenery is beautiful! The house suited us perfectly, it is very secluded but not at all isolated. We love gardening and work hard to keep it in top condition.

                                                              We had a fantastic time. The house and garden were perfect for our group of 4 adults and 4 children. The children loved seeing the various wildlife that turned up, especially a deer. The house was perfectly located, and an easy walk to the village shops.

                                                              I booked this house for a group of ladies including myself.

                                                              Right from the very beginning the communication and help i recieved from Bobbi and Simon was fantastic! Any questions or queries i had (which was quite alot) were always answered very promptly.

                                                              We all liked the pictures of the house and thought it looked lovely but we were all very pleasantly surprised when we arrived.

                                                              Simon was there to greet us and was very welcoming.

                                                              He showed me round the house and i was shocked at how beautiful it really was! Especially with the garden and the view.

                                                              Every single person in our party instantly fell in love with the house. It just felt like home.

                                                              We made our way into the village for lunch which was about a 20min lovely walk and helped us to see more.

                                                              Overall, an amazing wkend was had by the entire party and we are currently planning on returning next year.

                                                              Massive thank you to the owners Simon and Bobbi for letting us stay in your beautiful property and also thank you to the cleaners for their help our on last morning. They too were very lovely.

                                                              If i had one thing to critique its that the photos do not do your house any justice... we didnt expect it to be as lovely as it is.

                                                              With 10 of us in total (4 adults and 6 children with an age range of 15 to 10) Moles Acre was a great house to stay in. We were welcomed by the owners and made to feel at home. In the house there is a good bedroom layout for families, a large communal room for everyone to spread out and relax, as well as plenty of bathrooms and a good size table to share meals together. The kitchen is well equipped and the garden made a perfect location for an Easter egg hunt.

                                                              A short walk from the village, 20 mins from Norwich and in driving distance to lots of places of interest (we saw about 200 seals on the beach at Horsey point) it is a good location for a holiday in Norfolk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, despite the soggy weather Easter provided this year.

                                                              We stayed at Mole Acre from the 3rd to 6th April. There were 10 family members ranging in age from 7 to 87 and we all enjoyed our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the house was well stocked of everything you could need. The owners are friendly and were available to answer any questions that we had. We will hopefully stay again soon.

Deposits of 10% are taken at the time of booking, the remainder to be paid by 6 weeks prior to the start of the booking. Changeover Day: Changeover in high season is Saturday. shorter bookings available at other times of the year. Entry is from 3pm on the arrival day and departure is by 10am. Notes on prices: If the stay is for less than 7 nights the cost is 70% of the weekly charge for 4 nights and 60% of the weekly charge for a 3 night stay. Discounts given to small parties. Dogs are charged at £25 per dog per week.
