About Jennifer Perry

Coombe Cottage has been part of our family for 20 years and has only been available as a holiday home for 3 years. it is very much still a home from home although we now live in Cheshire. We try to keep it comfy and welcoming.

Why Jennifer Perry chose South East Cornwall

Our family have lived in Polperro for several centuries and lived in several houses around the harbour.

What makes this cottage unique

The house has it's own parking space opposite. It is so convenient for the harbour and pubs yet retains it's privacy. The rear patio is a sun trap and although at roof height is private and tranquil.

Superb Cottage in a Charming Village

This was our first Visit to Polperro, a delightful village in Cornwall, but our thrill in being there was magnified by staying in Coombe Cottage with all its lovely furnishings and perfect location. The cottage surpassed its description and was spotlessly clean. Staying at Coombe Cottage was an added highlight to our entire trip. We would certainly recommend it to anyone who appreciates a cottage of the highest quality.

Coast/Beach:

5 minute stroll to historic fishing harbour and tidal village beach. Easy access Coastal cliff path.

Travel:

A car is recommended but there is a bus service from the village to Looe, Plymouth and Fowey.

Distances:

Numerous attractions within easy access including Eden Project, Lanhydrock, Plymouth.

Further Details:

The village has several excellent restaurants, pubs, gift shops, heritage museum and fishing trips.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is normally Saturday. There is some flexibility out of peak season. Visitors to leave by 10am on departure day and not arrive before 3pm on first day. A key safe box is used for front door key.

Notes on accommodation: The rear access is via steep concrete steps so toddlers must be supervised by an adult. There is a £1 coin meter for electricity. Strictly No Smoking. Sorry no pets allowed. Outside: We have sun chairs, sun umbrella and plastic mugs/glasses for use on the patio. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Beds freshly made, some shower towels provided. visitors need to bring their own beach towels. Kitchen tea towels provided. Rubbish will be removed after departure. Interim cleaning can be arranged. Cost dependant on what is requested and payable locally. Other: A small front garden accessed by a step and front gate elevates the house slightly from the road giving a sense of privacy. The house is regularly photographed by passers by. From the kitchen access to rear patio garden via steps.
