This 2014 deluxe twin holiday lodge is situated in a 5* luxury lodge park. The park is set in 100 acres of lush green woodland in beautiful Perthshire. The park has its own river running through it which has free fishing with country walks on your doorstep. It has 2 bedrooms one with en-suite, open plan living room with TV/DVD, dining room and kitchen with cooker and microwave. It has its own driveway area which can accommodate 3 cars. The park is only 3 miles from Gleneagles. Perth is the nearest town only a 20 minute drive and Glasgow and Edinburgh are accessible within an hour.
I am a retired district nurse and I enjoy the outdoors.
Anne Lashmar purchased this cabin in 2014
I bought this property because it is located in a beautiful part of Perthshire in Scotland. It offers lots of outdoor activities such as fishing, golf, walking, ski-ing with the towns of Perth and Stirling a short distance away. It is very central to other major cities Glasgow. Edinburgh and Aberdeen. The lodge is set in a tranquil setting to enjoy after a days adventure.
I enjoy the peace and quiet, privacy and friendly neighbours.
We stayed at Anne's lodge with 2 adults and 2 children.
The lodge is a very estetic, cozy, clean and comfortable place to stay. It has a fully equipped kitchen and if you don't like to cook there are several take away/deliveries in town.
It's strategically located: Edinburgh, Stirling and Loch Lommond are a day trip away. Perth has some indoor facilities for kids on rainy days and is 15min away.
The only thing we initially missed was accessible WIFI. Fortunately we had mobile data coverage with reasonable speed and we figured that being 'disconnected' added to the relaxing atmosphere.
Beautiful lodge equipped with everything you need.We have throughly enjoyed our time here ,the location is quiet just what's needed for a break away from our busy lives. The owner responded quickly to any queries we had.We will be recommending this lodge to family &friends.Highly recommend a stay at Grand Eagles.
Thank You Anne the lodge is outstanding.
Had a lovely weekend stay here very recently. The lodge was beautifully furnished with excellent modern amenities. A home from home with everything you could possibly wish for whilst on a relaxing break.
The lodge is an excellent base for touring the area. Certainly, it has been one of the best accommodations that we have found in Scotland whilst on our travels. We will definitely be back again and hope to make this our regular bolt from the city when we need a country break.
The lodge offers fantastic value. Had no problem finding the lodge and there is a large coop supermarket nearby. The interior décor and furnishing was very new. It is very well kitted out throughout the home and plenty of spares! Love the gas cooker and kitchen prep area!
Only thing missing was a knife sharpener (lucky I brought mine along). Could do with stronger knifes as it struggled to cut some harder and larger veggies!
Other than that, I certainly would visit again. Anne was very responsive and informative. Getting the key was a zinch!
The setting is beautiful, quiet and the lodge spacious and well presented. A clean, well equipped lodge with helpful information for lodge use and local interests. Perth a quick hop and skip away and the delightful Auchterarder and Dunning within brisk walking distance gives some of the many choices of locations to
visit and enjoy the sheer beauty of Mid Scotland. Would highly recommend this property to friends, family and any potential visitors, as it ticks the many boxes required for a break away In a home from home lodge. We ate in the lodge and as the weather was so fine....used the BBQ ...lovely...
Already looking forward to my next visit.😀
A great place to stay! GrandEagles is very easy to find, being just a couple of hundred metres down the B8062, off the A824 Feus heading east, out of Auchterader. The Lodge is number 31 and was spotlessly clean and tidy for our visit. The lounge/dining/kitchen area is very spacious and the kitchen has everything necessary for either a short stay, or longer holiday. The 2 large bedrooms comprise a double with good sized en-suite which has a large corner shower, plus a second bedroom with twin beds. There is plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. The separate bathroom has a shower/bath. There are plenty of towels and sheets supplied. There is good water pressure making the showers powerful and instantly hot. In the lounge there's a good sized wall mounted tv/dvd. The only slight grumble was that the stated wifi could only be obtained close to the first Lodge at the entrance to GrandEagles about 100metres away. Limited 3G signal was available on Vodafone, but there was no O2 service unless you head into Auchterader (if internet connection is important to you). The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, cutlery, pots & pans and there was a supply of tea, coffee, condiments plus useful items like cleaning products, foil/clingfilm etc. possibly from previous visitors. Overall this is a great place to stay, and Anne is quick to reply to any questions. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended location.
