The grounds have a breathtaking view down the valley. The pool and grounds are all SW facing so are bathed in glorious sunshine all afternoon.
The property is accessed through the stone courtyard and was converted from its original use as a chestnut drying house. It has a small private garden to the side and access to the pool and grounds of the main house.
It is self-contained with a kitchen and living area downstairs and gallery bedroom with en-suite upstairs.
The area is especially appreciated by nature lovers, cyclists and runners as there are numerous walks and the village connects with the via Francigena. Many of our guests have enjoyed running in the area and the river bathing is fantastic with some amazing caves and gorges to be discovered a short drive away.
The medieval charm of the property and area of Lunigiana (the Tuscan secret only a few know about) extends to the closest town of Pontremoli. The town is approximately 12km away with a number of excellent restaurants, high quality artisan food outlets, supermarkets and a twice weekly market.
