The property looks straight down to the harbour with wonderful, far-reaching views across the estuary to the East Portlemouth shore,

The uninterrupted views of the estuary are quite breathtaking and a car is most definitely not required here as access to everywhere is but moments away on foot. Simply look at the scale on the map below and you will see how close we are to Fore Street and the water's edge!
PLEASE NOTE: as parking in Salcombe is limited we can purchase a parking pass for you that allows you to park in the main car parks in south hams. This pass costs £36.30 per week. If you would like us to purchase one for you please let us know before booking so payment request can be added to your invoice,

Salcombe is popular with all ages and delivers beautiful golden sand beaches, sparkling blue seas, wonderful walks in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and great food.Take a walk along the South West Coast Path and discover hidden coves revealed at low tide or enjoy some bucket and spade action on popular North Sands beach where there are rock pools to explore.

We stayed in Ringmore for two weeks in August 2015. You could not be more central in Salcombe. The kids loved being so near the sweet shop and ice cream shops. The beds were good and the living room was very pleasant. We have 3 boys and coped well in the space.
Hope Cove Beach (5 miles)
A sheltered, sandy beach in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) which is popular with families. The beach is backed by rocky cliffs and the villages of Inner and Outer Hope. Small shops and a choice of places to eat close by.
Salcombe to Bolt Head Walk
A 3 mile moderate walk along part of the South West Coast Path National Trail passing through an enchanted landscape of rocky spires and jumbled pinnacles to the mouth of the Salcombe estuary, with inspiring views in all directions, this is a coastal walk guaranteed to lift the spirits.
Jump onboard in Salcombe with the specialist Sea-N-Shore team. Water is their thing! RYA Powerboat School Based in Salcombe, Sea-N-Shore is an Advanced RYA Powerboat School and Watersports School. Choose from a range of cruises suited to your needs.
Overbecks Museum and Garden (2 miles)
This museum has an amazing garden and stunning views over the estuary. Formerly the home of a somewhat eccentic inventor, the house is kept as a museum with some of his inventions on display. Car parking is available.
Sea Kayak Salcombe
Offer half and full day Kauak tours, no experience is necessary and all equipment will be supplied. They also offer sea kayak and paddle board coaching. There is also a large selection of single and tandem kayaks and paddle boards for rent. There are showers, changing rooms and a beach cafe on site.
They provide the ultimate fishing experience out of Salcombe, Quality angling for the experienced and the beginner alike for bass, cod, pollock, mackerel and other species.
