Perfectly situated, well appointed apartment

Centrally situated in St Ives, direct access to shops, the harbour, beaches, pubs and restaurants. Lovely private and secluded garden. Warm and comfy.

Only problem was finding a parking space.

Central St Ives location is great

  • 4 of 5

The Garden studio has great outside space, a clever use of inside space downstairs, and a cosy bedroom requiring some dexterity to get in and out of upstairs. It has a great central location, for shops, bars etc, however be aware that in September St Ives has a festival over a two week period and sometimes music can be heard from nearby pubs. Car parks are about a 10 minute walk away.

Overall a great little studio with outside space in a central location.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. The festival is an exceptional time of year when there is a lot of activities underway in the day and into the night. Normally guests find this to be a very tranquil space in the heart of st ives. Thanks again. Gill

Just right

  • 4 of 5

Perfect location makes up for what we expected as a compromise on space. Though the space is clever and just right for what we wanted.

Biscuits, tea, and coffee were welcome touches on arrival and Gill was very helpful over the phone when my navigation skills got the better of me on the way down.

Whilst it is in the middle of Fore street and the hustle, it is hidden away, quiet, and quaint. Had we visited later in summer, I'm sure the rear garden would have been a more well enjoyed treat too. you could almost imagine you were in a small italian or greek rooftop garden - quite lovely.

Would recommend if you're looking for a little haven of peace in St Ives - perfect for young couples or if you're just after like a good blend of relaxation and prime location.

Everything in one compact package!

  • 5 of 5

Fantastic apartment right in the heart of St Ives. Plenty of room for myself,my son and our Labrador. The mezzanine sleeping level is an ingenious use of space. Great Cornish themed welcome pack meant a nice cuppa on our arrival. The owner,Gill, couldn't have been more helpful when there was a small problem with the keys.

Our only gripe was the WiFi signal which was quite weak, but it didn't spoil our stay and we both agreed we'll be back again soon.

Thanks again,Gill!

magical space perfectly located

  • 5 of 5

Wow! A beautifully presented studio that is tastefully decorated and captures the artistic atmosphere of St.Ives.

The Garden Studio was very accurately described in the listing - pointing out the atmosphere and dimensions of the place.

The sleeping mezzanine is an adventure in itself - cosey and playful. The kitchen is cleverly constructed to make optimum use of the space with a pull-out table that serves brilliantly to eat and work from.

The garden area is a bonus providing a secluded sun-trap to enjoy a cup of tea and a chat (it is also a good point to get a mobile phone signal).

The studio is perfectly positioned in the centre of the town above an art gallery. You can walk to all the beautiful bays in St.Ives within minutes, pick up a loaf of warm bread for breakfast from the delicatessen next door and chose your Cornish pasty from an array of outlets all around. All this and yet the studio is lovely and quiet during the evenings and night time.

We had a simply magical time here and found the property top quality. The owners, Gill and Neil, were a pleasure to deal with and were always prompt and friendly in answering our enquiries and sharing their local knowledge to direct us to several stunning coastal and moorland walks, the best beaches for bodyboarding and the best coffee houses to warm up afterwards! Thank you both...and thanks for the welcome hamper as well!

Overall - a wonderful time spent from a wonderful studio base. Thoroughly recommended.

Lovely Studio in the centre of St Ives

  • 5 of 5

This is a lovely studio situated right in the centre of St Ives on Fore Street, everything is on your doorstep, however it is also a wonderful peaceful haven to return to at the end of a busy day. The studio is cosy and furnished beautifully with all the equipment you require, aa lot of thought has gone into using every available space. There were two of us staying for a week in August and we found there was ample room for us both. The garden really is a luxury in this area and is certainly a bonus to the studio. A nice touch is the welcome pack of Cornish Tea / Coffee / Biscuits and milk left for us on our arrival.

We loved St Ives, there was plenty to see, the weather was great for us and we will definitely return.
