Summer Fun!

Ideal for our family of four. Good facilities - wifi,dvd player etc. We used the tennis courts nearly every day and our boys made use of the two football pitches nearby. Good kitchen facilities, so we often ate in after trips to the lakes, walking over the mountains etc. There's heaps to do in the surrounding area for an active family - we shall certainly be back again! Thanks for a great three weeks!!

Great summer gem

Perfect for two of us and our well behaved springer. Easy to find, roomy, well equipped, decent wifi and access to the communal garden a bonus. Might be tight with 6/7 pax but great for 4/5. We ate in quite a bit after long walking/MTBing days, as the facilities are good and reasonably priced small supermarket only half a mile or so away. No greater endorsement to say other than "we'll be back".... Thanks for sharing your home for a fantastic week that just went soooo fast!

Great value apartment

Very happy with our stay here and would use this apartment again if I come back to Morzine. Four of us stayed for mountain biking and the apartment was perfectly suited to this - the doors lead straight on to the communal gardens, perfect for getting bikes and kit ready in the morning and fixing things at the end of the day. The cave/garage room in the basement easily fitted 4 bikes securely (and has power for boot driers etc). There is also a separate ski locker which we didn't need in the summer.

Using the single sofa bed (perfectly comfy) meant all 4 of us had separate bedrooms, and the 2 bathrooms meant no waiting around to get showered. The windows all have roller shutters which also close off the patio areas so you can leave windows open at night if its hot and store things on the patio.

Location was absolutely fine, we were on the bikes mostly but even walking in to town was only 10 minutes, and the Casino supermarket is halfway back from town for getting supplies. I'd probably hop on the ski bus to the lifts in the winter though.

Great apartment. Very comfortable. Good views of the mountains.

Excellent property. Very spacious and comfortable. Once you work out the bus times very easy access to the lifts. Morzine is lovely town. Great skiing.

Good value apartment

Good value apartment for morzine, location was good, on the bus route, close to the supermarket. A few minutes on the bus to the centre and ski lifts, or a 10/ 15 minute walk. Everything you need in this apartment.

Convenient, comfortable, and attentive, helpful owners

The property is a 10 minute walk from the Super Morzine ski lift and we pretty much parked our car in the secure location by the apartment and left it there. There is a large double bedroom with a sofa and TV, a good kitchen/dining room with three/four easy chairs, and two small bedrooms with good quality fitted bunk beds and good sized cupboards, though these are through-rooms. One WC and a shower room off one of them and a WC-bath-shower off the other. Jo and Feral were great, attentive and efficient.

The "Casino" supermarket is 5 minutes away by foot and had everything you could need.

Morzine was lovely - good bars and a nice atmosphere. The Super-Moraine and Avoriaz ski areas are easily accessible as is the Plenty and LesGets complex.

Overall we had a lovely week and we certainly recommend the apartment.

Special interest holidays:

Morzine is very popular in the summer for Downhill and Cross Country Mountain Biking. It is equally popular for Triathlon training with fantastic running trails, road cycling and swimming in the Olympic sized 50 m pool or at Lake Montriond (1.5km)- only 5 minutes away. There are 2 outdoor swimming pools next to the large sports centre as well as 12 municipal tennis courts.Other activities include rafting, canyoning, ice rink, childrens horse riding and zip wire tree circuits, segway, via ferrata,climbing and helicopter rides.


Although not near the coast there are beaches 45 minutes away on the shores of Lac Leman (Geneva) and close by at Lake Montriond (5 minutes).


Geneva Airport is just over an hours drive with a variety of convenient airport transfer companies if a hire car is not for you.

Further Details:

Morzine is an unspoilt authentic mountain town with amazing views, lovely restaurants, bars and independent Savoyard shops. It has something for everybody with a huge range of activities and facilities.

The surrounding grounds and garden are well looked after and it has its own tennis court. It is set back slightly from the road - Route de la Plagne , with a security barrier for secure parking. It is South facing with mountain views - just a 10 minute flat walk to Morzine and the Super Morzine cable car. Outside: 2 sunny balconies which open onto quiet communal garden.
