Seascape is a beautiful home on an elevated site with stunning views of the Caribbean Sea from both levels, even from the plunge pool! There are 3 ensuite bedrooms in the main house and a further bedroom in the self contained annex. It is tastefully furnished and fully air-conditioned.
The villa is set in Sugar Hill Resort which offers great amenities in a beautifully landscaped tropical setting with fantastic views of the Caribbean sea and stunning sunsets. It offers the security of a gated resort, and is only minutes from the beaches and restaurants of the West Coast.
Facilities include free use of 4 floodlit tennis courts, an air-conditioned gym and clubhouse with restaurant, bar and infinity pool. There is a second freeform swimming pool in the gardens. In addition, guests will receive beach club membership at Fairmont Royal Pavilion Hotel for the duration of their stay, which provides sunbeds and parasols on a beautiful stretch of beach. You also have access to their watersports at additional cost. Locally there are beach bars and restaurants, and the opportunity to swim with turtles!
Holetown, with its banks, shops and restaurants, is just a few minutes drive away. The Limegrove Centre has world class shopping, places to eat and drink, and a cinema. Further north, Speightstown gives you a more local flavour of Barbados.
Seascape is a very spacious home. All the bedrooms are en-suite. The master bedroom has a large bathroom and dressing area, and opens out onto a big private balcony. The kitchen has a big American fridge with ice maker, and is very well equipped. There is a large lounge with flat screen cable TV. The covered outside veranda is where you will want to spend most of your time; eating, reading and relaxing. This has comfy sofas to sit and enjoy the view. The square hardwood dining table comfortably seats 8, and there is a further table and chairs on the sun terrace below, along with two sun loungers and the sparkling plunge pool. The guest cottage is completely independent, with its own entrance, ensuite, and kitchenette - for those who would like their own space.

Having lived in Barbados in the 1990's we were delighted to be able to acquire this delightful villa a couple of years ago. We hope you enjoy staying here as much as we do.

Sugar Hill offers great amenities in a beautifully landscaped tropical setting with great views of the Caribbean sea and stunning sunsets. It offers the security of a gated resort, and is only minutes from the beaches and restaurants of the West Coast.
Situated up on a ridge, the villa benefits from gentle breezes and stunning west facing seascapes. It has the unusual benefit of great views from the ground floor as well as upstairs, and has a beautiful outdoor dining room to take advantage of this.
We had the pleasure of a 2 week stay at Seascape as a family of four. This was our first trip to Barbados and we are so glad we chose Sugar Hill and particularly Seascape. Everything about the property was perfect and very well thought out. The views are quite simply breathtaking and we felt very lucky to be able to sit there with a drink watching the sunset followed by the incredible sounds of the Caribbean night.
The owner Gill could not be more helpful and proffessional making us feel like VIPs throughout. Stacie the housekeeper really looked after us and the property was immaculately kept at all times, such a nice person. Kristina the concierge was excellent too and arranged car hire (with delivery/collection to Seascape), pre-arrival grocery shop and airport transfers. A brilliant service that really took the stress and hassle away for us.
The facilities at Sugar Hill are very impressive and we had the pools to ourselves most of the time. Staff are very friendly and the Carizma restaurant is a great place to eat. The new Saturday night BBQ is highly recommended.
We went to several beaches but found Alleynes Bay at the Fairmont to be one of the best. The staff at the beach club were so welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived. Woody is the man for water skiing, ringo rides and trips to swim with the turtles. I am into my watersports and Woody knows his stuff. No pressure as there was from some boat owners on other beaches and he would go out of his way to just come and say hello.
Seascape is the perfect base for exploring the island and there is so much to do. One of our very best family holidays and we hope to return again soon.
This was our second stay at Seascape and we enjoyed it tremendously. The villa is well appointed and very clean, tastefully decorated with artwork reflecting the owners love of the island's beauty and history. My husband and I along with our adult children enjoyed meals on the patio and cocktails enjoying the sunset. The easy use of the main infinity pool and fitness center were a big plus for us. Wonderful stay....hoping to return soon!
We had an excellent week at Seascape in Sugar Hill. The house surpassed our expectations. It is well appointed, has 4 very nice bedrooms, and a nice view. It is in the gated community of Sugar Hill and is very safe. The house comes with use of the club house and admission to a beach at the Royal Pavillion. Both are nice options. We explored Barbados, and all felt that Sugar Hill's location was an excellent home base.
The house also came with Stacie. She came to clean several times and was a big help.
Overall, we had a great time in Seascape. We hope to return soon. We fully recommend the house.
I recently stayed at this villa and had the most wonderful 10 days!
The villa had stunning views from both the ground floor and the bedrooms upstairs. The local beach is only a few minutes drive and offers an idyllic place to spend many happy days.
A highlight was a nearby beach bar called Bristol Bar which we went to both Fridays we were there. Live music, happy hour cocktails and delicious food - what more could you want?
This property was perfect for our holiday as we were 4 couple and so it was great to all have a lovely bedroom and bathroom! The place is very modern, clean and well kept - I didn't find a single fault with it. It is situated in a private complex with two stunning swimming pools which were never busy and 4 tennis courts which we booked (for free) every morning. There is also a gym if you're into that sort of thing... We even saw a tribe of monkeys whilst playing tennis one morning!
The owners are very lovely and helpful and have a very good housekeeper Stacie who comes in 2/3 times a week to do some washing and cleaning. There are plenty of things to discover in Barbados but the owners have left great recommendations of things to see and do along with tips that are so helpful like avoiding certain excursions on days that big cruise ships are in.
It was perfect to have access to Alleynes beach with the property. This is only a 2 min drive away and you could walk but it's a pretty steep hill coming back up again! This gets you access to a sun lounger, umbrella and a beautiful white sandy beach with generally flat sea. There are also platforms you can swim out to as well as the chance to see turtles further up the beach! There are also boats and kayaks which you can rent.
I would definitely recommend a day at The Boatyard in Bridgetown and make sure you book onto a snorkelling tour when you get there! The East coast was also amazing and a completely different feel to the calm west coast as it had huge waves. Visit the Roundhouse for lunch when you're over there!
I would 100% recommend this property to anyone and I definitely think that Barbados is somewhere that should be on the top of your list if you're looking for gorgeous beaches, friendly people and lots of rum!
We have thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay at Seascape with friends. Seascape is a large three bedroomed house with a separate wing with additional double room to one side called the cottage.
We stayed in the cottage which was lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room beautifully decorated. The en-suite shower room was ideal and the kitchenette an added bonus to make a morning cup of tea. The terrace outside was perfect to sit out in the morning and the drying area ideal for swimming towels.
The main house is equally beautifully decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of plates and crockery including a large fridge/freezer/water cooler and ice maker in one. The living room is just off the kitchen with large sofas that comfortably seated the eight of us.
The dining table is outside on the covered terrace and was lovely to sit around to enjoy the warm mornings and to take in the beautiful evening sunsets as we looked out to sea. Outside there is also a lovely sunbathing terrace with plunge pool to cool down in. There is also a gas bbq to enjoy if you’re not eating out at one of the amazing eateries nearby.
We didn’t sleep in the main house but there are two lovely large double rooms upstairs with lovely balconies looking out towards the sea. There is another double room downstairs. All the large bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms so it is a lovely place to stay with friends. They all have air conditioning and ceiling fans which is a bonus for the warm nights.
Stacie the housekeeper kept the house beautifully during our stay. She really did look after us.
The house is in a complex with nearby communal pools, gym, clubhouse and tennis courts. The early morning game of tennis followed by a swim to cool off was a great start to the day.
We also enjoyed the nearby beach at Fairmont, Alleyne Bay (5mins drive away) with great surf, sunbeds with umbrellas and nearby café. Holetown is a 10 minute drive and is ideal for any shopping needs. We did hire a car and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the Island. A highlight would definitely be the stunning beaches around the Island and the warm sea. There is so much to do in Barbados one week was not really enough.
We had the most amazing week in a beautiful home on a beautiful Island and would not hesitate to recommend Seascape as a place to stay. We are already planning a return trip to Seascape next January, maybe for two weeks this time!

Barbados is a coral island which stands apart from the other Caribbean islands and is fortunate to lie outside the huricane belt. It enjoys 3000 hours of sunshine annually and average temperatures of 84-88* F (29-31*C) On the rare occasions when it rains, the spectacle is worth seeing! The sea is glorious -- warm, clear and safe. The local currency is the Barbados $ but US $ are also taken. The tap water is filtered through coral so not only safe to drink but also delicious!
