San Ginesio Apartment Rental Photos and Description

Apartment. Private entrance & terraces. Perfect to relax and enjoy real Italy

Your holiday home would be the ground floor of a lovingly restored Casa Colonica (stone farmhouse of classic Marche design). The restoration, with original features, respects building traditions and materials, yet incorporates quality contemporary Italian fittings.

The smart kitchen/ living areas open on to 2 terraces, for your private use, ensuring Sun or Shade all day, as desired. Enjoy al fresco dining under the locally hand-crafted iron Pergola with a granite-topped iron table and comfortable chairs , or BBQ on your own terrace.

Quality bed linen is provided in both bedrms; 1 double bedrm with valley views, and 1 queen size/twin bedrm with door to a terrace; there are useful wardrobes and a charming rustic ambience.

You will surely delight in the beautiful scenery from the large secluded pool terrace as you sunbathe/cool off, or if you prefer, relax amongst olives, vines, oleanders, figs and pomegranates. The large garden is on three levels, and not recommended for children under 4 yrs old.

More about facilities: The terraces and grounds are well-looked after. Fresh towels and bed linen are provided each week. A washing machine, iron and ironing board are available, and a vacuum cleaner on request. Wi Fi connection is possible from the apartment and terraces. There is also a computer shop a 10 minute drive away adjacent to a modern bar with good bread, coffee and aperitifs. There is a range of delightfully individual restaurants and bars in the locality and similarly a good choice of fish restaurants at the coast. Most are reasonably priced and some are more sophisticated for that special evening out, treat, or celebration. Very many share a pride and commitment to providing quality local food and good service. This area is unspoilt by mass tourism and local people are generally keen to assist visitors; the use of English is increasing.

Travel to Casa Corovanda, San Ginesio: Travel from UK. -Ancona airport - 1hr 15mins drive away; Ryan Air flys daily from Stansted. Rimini,Perugia and Pescara airports take about 2 hrs driving time and Bologna is approx. 3hrs away. Rome Ciampino airport is about 3hrs 30mins driving time but once beyond the ring road it is a lovely scenic drive through the mountains across Italy. Ryan Air provide services to these destinations from various UK airports.

Travel from other european countries - By car - It is the A14 autostrada that passes along the Adriatic coast-line to Civitanova Marche exit. From there Casa Corovanda can be easily reached via the SS77 superstrada, then the SP78 and local roads.

By air - The number of flights into Ancona are increasing every year, including for example flights, from Brussels, Dusseldorf, Munich and Madrid. The driving times from other airports are given above.

We provide very detailed directions with photographs and maps which are reliable, but we are happy to meet guests, if desired, usually at a service station on the SP78 and guide them.

Lovely holiday in a peaceful location

  • 5 of 5

We were very impressed with the high standard of the apartment, the cleanliness and the spectacular views. Thompson and Tricia were very helpful and hospitable and always ready to give us advice and tips on where to go and what to see. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and our daughter particularly loved the pool.

A delightful house in a stunning surrounding

  • 5 of 5

As we are frequent visitors to the Marche region, the truly splendid and tranquil setting of Casa Coronada was not unexpected but he house itself was a delightful surprise. This is a wonderful layout for two couples or, like us, a small family. The pool was a particular delight after a day of hiking or touring the area. Favorites towns such as Ascoli Piceno and Macerata are within and easy drive as is the splendid Monte Conero park and beaches on the Adriatic. The charming village of Ripe San Ginesio makes for an excellent morning's hike. Oh, and the Sunday market at San Ginesio - I could go on and on.

Casa Coronada is a real gem to which we look forward to returning.

Five Stars!

  • 5 of 5

As seasoned travellers and enthusiastic users of self catering properties we award Casa Corovanda five stars for accommodation and location, representing excellent value for money.

The apartment is contemporary, sunny and airy, and very well equipped. The kitchen and living area have everything you can possibly need for both fine dining inside or on the terrace and for chilling out with books or dvds. The bedrooms are spacious, with comfortable beds and loads of storage space (including enough hangers!). Bathroom facilities are excellent.

The location is fabulous - private, peaceful and rural, with stunning views of the valley, yet within easy access by car to lovely medieval villages and towns, and glorious walks.

The owners, Tricia and Thompson, are very welcoming and helpful. Their knowledge and enthusiasm for their locality is inspiring and their advice on where to go, what to see and where to eat was greatly appreciated. They pointed us in the direction of great family-run restaurants which were excellent value for money - compared for example with the South of France.

We shall certainly be returning to Casa Corovanda again and have already recommended it to family and friends.

Beautifull terrace and views with a lot of privacy

  • 5 of 5

For the second year in a row we visit this wonderfull place for three weeks. Having dinner on the nice shaded terrace with a big dining table and comfortable chairs and in the meanwhile having a wide view over the mountains is perfect. The house and kitchen are very well equipped. The shutters and insect blindes on all doors and windows are a blessing as well as the big refrigerator and even a separate wine refrigerator to keep your Rosso Piceno on an ideal temperature :-). Thanks Thompson and Tricia for a nice stay. Lieve & Joris, Antwerp, Belgium

The Best Holiday Rental Ever!

  • 5 of 5

Casa Corovanda is an outstandingly well presented property. The accommodation is spacious, extremely well equipped and the view from the terrace is stunning. The owners are very friendly and anxious to please. The Marche is a beautiful region - rolling countryside with medieval hill villages crowning the summits. Highlights were the Monti Sibillini, Ascoli Piceno, the Conero Riviera.and neighbouring San Ginesio.
