This is a perfect base from which to enjoy Salcombe and the local area. It has all the comforts of home. Arranged over three floors, there are plenty of welcoming details and features to make life easy and relaxed during your stay. Decorated with a blue and white seaside theme, you will feel you have arrived at the beach as soon as you walk through the door. The house is very comfortably furnished and has lovely views from most rooms, wonderful sunrises and sunsets over Dartmoor to enjoy. With central heating you will be warm even in the worst weather. The local convenience store and post office is just around the corner, you don’t need to plan ahead, just pop out to get things as you need them. The spacious house sleeps seven adults plus a child . However the comfortable and relaxed style make it suitable for a couple as well as larger groups.

Great location in a lovely area with a shop so close by was handy as well plenty of room for us all
A cosy home from home with a view from the top!
Shell Seekers is a cosy home from home, lovely quiet location with the odd seagull for company. Great view of the estuary from the top floor if you want to look out to sea or just sit and have a glass of wine on the terrace and watch the sun go down. Pop across the road to the Spar shop to buy your paper in the morning and then sit in the sun and have coffee on the terrace sun trap. You have a 10 minute walk down hill into town to the ferry or shops, take the walkways and steps rather than the roads. On your way home, stop at the Salcombe Dairy on the corner for a scoop of honeycombe ice cream to give you a bit of energy to get you back up the hill home at the end of the day. Jennie, the owner is very helpful, responsive and on hand if you have any questions about the house. A fabulous long weekend spent in the Salcombe sun! Thank you. E
Thank you for posting such a lovely review, and glad you had the sunshine to enhance your stay(apart from Sunday morning in the rain. I will be providing an umbrella now! just in case anyone gets caught out) I would love to have you to visit again. Thanks Jennie
Super holiday home
We had a terrific October half-term stay in Salcombe at Shellseekers.
The property is spacious and had everything we needed as a base for our trip. Being located up the hill meant a reasonable stroll down into Town, but the benefit of being able to actually park outside was really useful. The Spar convenience store over the road meant we didn't have to take much in the way of provisions, and simply bought as and when required.
Jennie always responded immediately to our enquiries and was very accommodating in terms of our requests - including allowing us to bring our dog, which was a big plus for us.
We will certainly look to stay again.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write your review..really glad you found the house to be to your liking. You would ,of course, be very welcome to visit again.
Great location and views from bedroom!
The house is comfortable and in a great location, with great views from the master bedroom windows! As with most properties in Salcombe there is a steep walk down into town, but it only takes 10-15 mins. Useful Spar shop round the corner too! We had a great week here, and it was great that we could bring our pup with us too! Thanks for a great week! Xx
Thank you for taking the time to write a review, and I am really glad you enjoyed your stay.Jennie
