Apartment in Woolacombe, North Devon, England - Two Minute Walk To The Village Shops, Restaurants And Three Mile Sandy Beach. Perfect Location.

Situated on the second floor, this lovely purpose built stylish apartment is situated in the ideal location within the village so you can walk to the local shops, cafes, bars and restaurants and just a two minute stroll to the sandy beach. The kitchen and living/dining room are open plan so no one is holed up in the kitchen away from the rest of the party. The bathroom has recently been refurnished and has a lovely power shower and bath perfect after a long day walking, surfing or playing on the beach. There are two bedrooms of similar size; one has a double bed whilst the other has twin beds. Both rooms have plenty of storage with built in wardrobes. There is a garage, great for storing buggies, surfboards, wetsuits and walking equipment together with a dedicated carport.

Historically Woolacombe was a family friendly seaside resort however with many establishments offering wetsuit hire and surfing tuition it is now attracting all year round surfers as well. Woolacombe beach has recently been voted by Tripadvisor the No.1 beach in the UK and No.4 in Europe.

As a family we have owned the apartment for nearly 25 years and although we live by the sea we love the North Devon coast and have spent many family holidays in Woolacombe. It is wonderful that now our children are taking their children there.

Lovely apartment in perfect setting close to the beach

We arrived at the apartment after a long journey and felt very much at home almost instantly. There was everything we needed including body boards, beach chairs and even buckets and spades to borrow (we thought we'd have to hire body boards as they weren't mentioned in the write-up so the girls were thrilled they had one each!). Wonderful views to enjoy over breakfast each morning! The apartment is only a 5-10 minute walk from the beach which was so handy. The only negatives I noticed was that the glass areas (inside of windows, microwave etc) were a bit smeary and could have done with a polish and you couldn't adjust the shower angle any lower but other than that it was a lovely apartment and we went home feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Superb!!

Fantastic property in superb location. Everything you need included at the apartment. Clean and welcoming with lovely beach vibe decor. There a steps to the apartment which could be a problem if you have mobility issues. Booking was easy and the owner is a pleasure to deal with. We know Woolacombe well but have not visited for a few years. It's lovely to find it is thriving with new additions of shops and bars. We will be booking again for next year 😀?

Perfect !!!

A lovely apartment with everything you need, near the beach and surfing was really good. We hired a beach hut which was also good as you could keep you stuff in it to save bringing it home everyday. We will be back again !!!!

Pleasant Apartment in Woolacombe

Very nice apartment with everything you could possibly want, even down to a lemon squeezer (I always take my own as I've never had one supplied before). Amazed to see a very, very old fridge freezer and microwave but they worked perfectly so I guess 'if it isn't broke, don't replace it' applies. Lovely outlook from the apartment. There is a lot of building work going on round the apartment building but it didn't bother us. Plenty of storage space in the bedrooms and the garage downstairs was a bonus. There are a lot of steps leading up to the apartment so not suitable if you have trouble walking up and down steps. The only small criticism I have is that it was a bit dusty, there were stains on the two small glass top tables and the shower screen wasn't clean. Overall though I would recommend it to others.

Really smart, well proportioned and centrally located property - ideal base to enjoy Woolacombe

Lovely stay in this smart, well-maintained property with all the mod-cons you'd expect and decorated to a high standard. DVDs, books and games were a nice touch. Really comfortable beds and although we'd had no experience of night storage heaters, they proved easy to operate and we were snug and warm. It is cooler in kids room, though, as there was no heater there but leaving the door open, the warmth spread through from the hall and other bedroom so no issues for us really. Since this apartment is pretty much opposite the Red Barn and the beach, this means it is in a great location and we enjoyed a lovely stay between Christmas and New Year. Property is accessed round the back and up 2 flights of fairly steep steps and we found this step area not so well lit. Car space right outside and use of garage very welcome. Can certainly recommend.

Changeover Day:
During peak season changeover day is Saturday however we can be flexible during the off season period. Arrival is from 3.00pm and departure is before 10.00am. Shorter breaks are available at certain times of the year please contact me.

Notes on prices:
Prices are per week, based on check-in date. Short breaks will be considered in off peak season. If a short break runs over two rental periods it maybe that there would be a small surcharge but this very much depends on the time of year.
