About Martin Hession
Dolphin Watch House is situated on the grounds of my family home which is perched high on a cliff top overlooking the Atlantic. My family have welcomed many visitors here over the years, many now lifelong friends of the family. In 2004, together with my wife Mary, we built and decorated Dolphin Watch House, with a view to carrying on the family hospitality tradition. Since then we have welcomed many guests and we take great pleasure in sharing our intimate knowledge of this unique area with them. I am a retired and now spend my time fishing and playing Traditional Irish music. My wife Mary is an artist and takes inspiration from the beautiful Connemara Landscape. Having lived for a number of years on the Continent I am a fluent German speaker and I also have a good level of Spanish.
