About Phillip & Susan Walker
We are Phillip and Susan Walker and have been walking in the Peak District for many years. In 2004 we were fortunate to be able to buy Overdale Cottage in our favourite village of Youlgrave (or Youlgreave as it is sometimes spelt). We look after the cottage ourselves and we stay there as often as we can so we can be sure all is in order for our guests. In 2008 we extended the cottage by converting a stone outhouse into the kitchen and creating a roof terrace on top which has fantastic views over the River Bradford and Bradford Dale.

Why Phillip & Susan Walker chose Youlgreave
Youlgrave is one of the loveliest villages in the Peak District. There are numerous walks straight from the cottage door from a short stroll to walks of several miles. The village has three pubs, a bakery, butcher's shop/delicatessen and a Post Office/general store all within easy walking distance, there is also a good local bus service.
