Trearddur Bay, Anglesey, North Wales, - Two Minutes Walk To Blue Flag Beaches
Seagull Cottage is a delightful modern cottage in beautiful Trearddur Bay. Seagull Cottage can slepp up to six guests and is furnished to a high standard being fully equipped for family holidays. We have some of the finest beaches in Wales on our doorstep which makes Trearrdur the ideal base for traditional beach holidays or exploring the island of Anglesey. Within walking distance of the cottage there are great family food pubs serving local produce and spectacular views across the bay. The sea is 100 metres away and visible from our living room. The village is small but has two convenience stores one of which has a cafe and one is a post office and Spar, within walking distance there are four pubs with excellent food and an excellent eat in or take away Chinese Restaurant.
In nearby Holyhead there is a retail park with the usual supermarkets (Tesco, Morrisons etc) and retail outlets, and the usual McDonald's, KFC etc.
The local leisure centre is a mile away and offers many activities including a heated indoor swimming pool with toddler / children's pool and has a disabled access hoist and disabled and family changing rooms.
South Stack Lighthouse is an interesting excursion which you can visit by buying a ticket at the RSPB visitor centre and descending the hundreds of steps down the cliffs. You can then do the tour and see the light. Porpoise, seals, puffins and other sea life are often visible here. Disabled guests cannot descend the steps but can get an excellent view from nearby Ellen's Tower by using the fairly level access path to the RSPB observatory. We can advise on other fun excursions.

Lovely property and great location.
Had a great time. The property was perfectly located for access to Trearddur Bay, South Stack and all the bays in between. The property was light and airy, very clean, and very pretty both inside and out and had all the facilities required for a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend it to others.
Great cottage in fantastic location
We loved our weekend here, a well kept property with great facilities, just 2 minutes from the beach. We enjoyed lovely walks and a dip in the sea. Richard was very helpful with a small problem and on hand with a solution. Excellent, would really recommend staying here and hope to visit again.
Lovely bungalow very home ley clean be booking there a Again Ric very helpful with everything
Great base to explore Anglesey
Loved the bungalow! Very spacious, well equipped and beautifully decorated to remind you exactly where you are - the beach.
Excellent places to eat within walking distance. Spent a good few hours at The Black Seal just drinking coffee in the sun whilst reading, before returning for some of the best dinners. Breakfast at The Sea Shanty before walking around the bay a few times just enjoying the breeze and sunshine. Plenty of leaflets in bungalow to suggest days out, went to Beaumaris but unable to get trip to Puffin Island (book in advance). Drove round north of island to Bull bay and Red Wharf bay and just sat and enjoyed the scenery. Visited south stack twice - both times it was windy and raining but well worth the trips. Might have walked there if weather had been better as it is only about 3 miles from bungalow.
Information provided at booking was spot on and Richard was extremely helpful with all queries.
In summary, an excellent break. Hope to return sometime, possibly with children and/or grandchildren but would recommend for all ages.
Thanks for that lovely review. It's nice to know we are getting it right and people enjoy our special place.
We hope you can return and make many more happy memories at Seagull Cottage!
