The compact detached property is located at the end of a gated lane. There is parking available and a garden with a stone flagged patio with glazed veranda and garden furniture. Ground floor comprises combined living / dining and kitchen with a log burning stove in the living area. There is a ground floor double bedroom and bathroom and a 1st floor twin bedroom opening directly off the stairs and en suite shower room. The cottage is adjacent to a bridleway and surrounded by mature trees and garden. It is the perfect location for exploring Wales and Shropshire with numerous places of interest an easy drive away, many affording stunning scenic walks and cycle trails.There is a secure bike store. The unfenced garden makes it unsuitable for dogs.

The tranquil rural surroundings provide a peaceful place to stay with its unspoiled views of the area around Llansilin. There are many places both sides of the English / Welsh Border.to explore with easy access to the lakes around Ellesmere, and places of interest such as Oswestry, Shrewsbury, Welshpool, Chirk and Llangollen. There are also biking trails in the area such as near Llandegla where there is a visitors centre and good facilities.

The location combines access to sporting activities, like fishing, biking or walking. with a peaceful rural location The terrace has a glazed veranda and offers a pleasant place to relax . The property, located approximately 7 miles from Oswestry, is 1 mile outside the village of Llansilin, up a gated lane.

Detached, 2 bedroom cottage
Located a couple of miles from Oswestry, and a mile from local village, was a perfect location for us. so quiet and tranquil, surrounded by farms and hills. Central for what we wanted to do over the Easter holiday.Cottage is spotless, and had everything we needed. The woodburner is a brilliant addition.The owner is amazingly friendly and helpful. would love to visit this place again, during the summer season. The peace and quiet at night is amazing, a great nights sleep. we have recommended this Cottage to family members.
Very comfortable & quiet
We had a great few days here though the weather was not too good at time. The cottage was comfortable and warm with everything you need. Great for visiting local NT properties. Well out of the way from busy main roads. The owners were very helpful and friendly.
We really enjoyed our stay here, it's in a beautiful location and the cottage is really nicely appointed. We will definitely be back!

STUNNING LITTLE RETREAT
Really enjoyed the tranquility of this lovely little annexe. Beautifully equipped and a real home from home. As well, there are some lovely places to visit in this part of the Welsh Borders. The owners were very helpful and thoughtful.
The Cottage is well positioned for exploring Shropshire and Wales with easy access by car to Lakes Vyrnwy and Bala or Powis and Chirk Castles and Erdigg House and gardens. You can take canal rides at Llangollen, go canoeing or white water rafting on the River Dee or take a scenic train ride from Llangollen or Welshpool. Near Llanrhaeder ym mochant you will find Wales' highest waterfall, Pistyll Rhaeadr. Explore the scenic cycle trails of the Berwyn Mountain Range or enjoy the Ellesmere Lakes,known as Shropshire's Lake district.

Booking Notes: The property is only available during the months listed (April to October) and a £50 deposit on booking is required, with the balance paid 2 weeks before arrival. When making a reservation, the holidaymaker is deemed to have accepted the rental conditions. The property is not suitable for toddlers or for pets as the garden is unfenced. Changeover Day: Changeover day normally Saturday but can be varied by arrangement. Arrival after 3.00pm and departure by 10.00am.
