Everything has been thought of
Elizabeth & Nick have obviously spent time researching what a holiday cottage should be, and then put it together. Everything had been thought of - scones and jam as a welcome, free range eggs, fully equipped kitchen, seriously comfortable beds, guide books, reading books, maps, dog friendly, storage for kit; be it bikes, boats or something else, and the cream for us as canoeists - a drying room :-) A fantastic welcome, a clean, comfortable cottage and dry kit every morning, we left very happy after our week stay. A great location for Tees, Tyne, Eden, Allen and even the Lake District, if we're back in the area, we'll be in touch. Thank you once again :-)
Many thanks for your review Steve. It is good to know that we are meeting the needs of canoeists as well as our more regular guests. I hope that your final day was successful and that we shall see you again in the future.
Really good break. Fantastic cottage.
Many thanks for your review Christine. I'm glad that you had a 'great holiday' and we hope that we shall you both again soon.
Our welcome was great and the scones and eggs a bonus. Nick and Liz were the perfect hosts and the cottage was very clean and welcoming. We had a fantastic time seeing a part of England we've only ever driven through before. Hopefully we will be back. Thanks for a great place to stay for a holiday.
Many thanks for your review Denise.
I went into the coach house a few days after you left and the barn owl flew out past me.
I hope that we'll see you both again soon.
Excellent in every way
Well equipped, very clean, a warm welcome and lovely views.
Many thanks for the review Sarah. I hope that we shall see all three of you again soon.
Very cosy and comfy; great views and location
Lovely welcoming owners. Cosy and very comfy cottage. Everything we needed. Best dog friendly accommodation we've ever stayed in. Great views from garden, lounge and master bedroom windows.
Thank you for your review Andy. Glad that you enjoyed your break and we hope to see you both, and the dogs, again soon.
Looking for the best? here it is.
Over many years and many destinations we have stayed in self-catering Cottages and apartments, this is by far the best I have stayed in with hosts to match.
The Cottage/views/accommodation/hosts/area/welcome is all 110%.
Our very best wishes and thanks go to Nick and Elizabeth.
Alan, Sharon and our little bit of trouble Benny the dog
