These two detached lodges, Chloe’s Lodge and Millie’s Lodge are situated in a small wooded area just above the village of Cropton, 5 miles from the busy market town of Pickering and within the North York Moors National Park. They are set within the grounds of the owners’ working beef and sheep farm, accessed by a 50 yard rough track, but still very private and quiet. There’s a small footpath that leads to one of the most stunning viewpoints in North Yorkshire. With fantastic walks on the doorstep and great cycling trails nearby there’s lots for you to do. For those who love walking, cycling and nature then these lodges have everything for you too. After a long day walking and exploring the area you can take a stroll down to the local pub for an evening meal. The pretty market towns of Thirsk, Pickering and Helmsley are just a short drive away, and from Pickering you can catch the steam train that takes you over the moors to Whitby. Shop 5 miles, pub and restaurant 600 yards. Both properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 12 guests.
