Having run hotels in the past, in Cornwall and the Alps, my brother Gary and I have joined forces to take on the ownership and running of Polmeor. Being born and bred in Cornwall we have returned to our roots, and both live locally. Property spacious, clean and with everything thing you need provided.
Only thing that would improve it for us was Internet.
Travel: Newquay is the nearest airport, and Bodmin parkway the nearest train station. Local bus service runs from Polzeath to Wadebridge, and up the north coast. Distances: In the village a few minutes walk, there are several shops, pub, restaurant, café's, only 500 yards. The nearest town is Wadebridge 8 miles away with a good selection of boutique shops and several supermarkets. Further Details: Close by, enjoy the stunning south-west coastal path, where guests can take in the breath taking views of the Atlantic Ocean and walk around to Rock with its beaches and water sports, including waterskiing wake-boarding, sailing, fishing and diving trips. From here, take a foot ferry over to Padstow, with its working harbour and variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. A little up the coast is Port Isaac, where Doc Martin is filmed, and further up is Tintagel, the mythical home of King Arthur, and Boscastle. Polmeor is ideally situated to visit the many attractions that Cornwall has to offer, including Bodmin Moor, Newquay, with its surfing beaches, the Zoo and Blue Reef Aquarium, and the Eden Project. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards. The nearest town is Wadebridge with a good selection of boutique shops and several supermarkets.
