We visited Carbis Bay a few times and fell in love with the area. We got engaged here, we honeymooned here and we've now bought a place here which we adore and hope you do too.

We simply love the location. In our opinion, you will not find a more tranquil and beautiful beach as you do in Carbis Bay.

The people in Cornwall are fantastic and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone.

Carbis Bay beach is a beautifully tranquil, mile long crescent of golden sand backed by an expanse of sand dunes. An ideal retreat for those who dislike resort beaches. Water sports are restricted, the beach is family orientated and just a short ten minute walk from the property.


The property is a great base from which to explore the delights of Cornwall either walking or driving.


Ten minute walk to Carbis Bay beach. Just under two miles from St Ives. 5 minute walk to Carbis Bay railway station (then just a 3 minute journey into St Ives). Access to the South West coastal path is also between a 5 and ten minute walk from the property.

Further Details:

Carbis Bay and St Ives enjoy some fantastic shops and restaurants selling mostly local produce.

There is a Cost Cutter and a pharmacy in the immediate vicinity of the property. There is a supermarket approx. one mile form the property. If you like fish and chips, there is a fantastic eat-in or takeaway chip shop about a five minute walk from the property.

Excellent apartment close to beautiful beach

Just returned from a relaxing week in Cornwall. This apartment is stylishly decorated with a seaside theme throughout, is very comfortable and well equipped with anything you would need - a real home away from home. The location is excellent - easy access to beaches, supermarkets, restaurants and fast food - and the nearby station allowing easy access to St. Ives without the need to join traffic queues. Excellent customer service from the owners before, during and after our stay. We will return!

First class apartment, clean with EVERYTHING you require supplied. Like a home from home.

The information pack was most helpful, the recommendations for eating places were excellent, although we didn't get through too many of them in a week! Such a good location for visiting places in and around Carbis Bay, probably it would have been better to spend two weeks at the apartment exploring. The only tiny downside for us, as not being regular walkers, the beach was too far away to walk, but we drove down in the early evening, parked in the car park, and then walked along the beach, we even saw a seal. We could manage to walk to the station and back and the train service was excellent. We spent a magical day at Lands End, it wasn't very busy and the weather was good. We spent a good four hours just walking along the cliff paths, the views were magnificent. In fact no where was too far away. We had a wonderful holiday and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone.

Lovely Apartment - Great location!

We stayed here for 2 weeks, the apartment was very cosy and homely, the apartment was spotlessly clean when we arrived and was also cleaned mid way through the stay..we have a 7 year old and 5 year old who shared the 2nd bedroom, just a note for anyone with young kids.. we suggest bringing a bed guard as our little one had a bump in the night and the beds are quite high off the ground. Our stay was made very comfortable and the owners were very lovely and stayed in touch with us all the way through, we would recommend this place to all our friends and family, the best thing about it was the location...perfect for all of the places we wanted to see!! Very homely and welcoming

Very welcoming home from home, close to the train to St Ives and walkable to the stunning beach. Plenty of space for a family stay and Ben and Zoe were so helpful and ready to answer any questions. We loved it and hoping to return next year!

Excellent accomodation

Great accommodation!

As other holidaymakers reviews, this apartment has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is great for exploring this beautiful area. Local transport is good with frequent trains and buses into St Ives,

The information pack was excellent as was the communication with the owners. We would have no hesitation in recommending this acommodation.

Refunds following cancellation by you: Greater than 4 weeks before arrival, 75% of deposit received by us.
4 weeks or less before arrival, 50% of total amount payable. Cancellation after arrival, 0% of total amount paid.
If you fail to pay the balance by the date stated on the booking confirmation, your reservation may be cancelled and zero refunded.
Our maximum aggregate liability to you will be 100% of all monies received by us.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Saturday. You will be allowed access from 2pm onwards on the arrival date and we request you vacate by 10am on the day of departure.

Prices are in GBP from 2pm Saturday to 10am the following Saturday and include bed linen but exclude towels
We ask for a non-refundable £100 per week deposit on booking followed by the balance 30 days before arrival
