West point is a detached, fully equipped property, with gas central heating and log burner for cosy winter nights. Wifi available for guest's use. It has fully enclosed gardens, bordered on one side by a field -great for wildlife spotting, and is situated at the end of a quiet residential lane with country and sea views, it's a comfortable family home, ideal for beach and walking holidays. The beach at Trevone is within walking distance as is the fabulous north Cornwall coast path. Westpoint is strictly 'no-smoking'.
Having my family roots in and spending most of my childhood summers in Cornwall, my own children too have spent many happy hours enjoying this lovely part of our world.
Westpoint has been our family home from home since 2005 and a move to New Zealand means our visits to Trevone are now sadly not so easy! But we love returning and it still feels like home.
We learnt to surf in Cornwall and two of our trusty boards travelled with us and still find use in NZ.........'sweet as'.. as they say ...!

This comfortable detached home is in a fantastic location to explore Cornwall , its 5 minutes to padstow and is located in a very quite lane enjoying views of the sea ! This property was spotlessly clean and very comfortble , we would have no worries recommending this accomadation and look forward to returning as soon as we can 😀
Great stay at Westpoint, good location for Trevone beach and Padstow. Plenty of housespace for the family, clean & bright. We really enjoyed our stay.

The cottage was very clean and tidy with ample space for us four plus two additional guests.
Trevone is a hidden gem with a beautiful beach .
The best part for me was the views of the ocean as I cooked dinner or sat having morning coffee x

What a beautiful spacious bungalow with all the space and facilities you could want, including an outdoor tap and shower for the wet suits.
Lynn is trying to sell and if I had the money I would buy Westpoint with its partial beautiful sea views. The beach is very very child friendly and the village, whilst lacking places to eat or drink is so close to this idyllic north Cornish coast line that you are not too far from anywhere.
We shall return (do not sell Lynn).
Just returned from a lovely break at Westpoint in Trevone. Bungalow exceeded our expectations. Spotlessly clean,a lovely welcome pack of coffee,tea hot cross buns,jam and Cornish butter. View from the kitchen to the sea was a bonus. Beds extremely comfortable and the log burner for the odd chilly nights. Trevone is a Cornish gem, lovely beach. Padstow always a delight. Lots of places to visit in surrounding areas. Hope to return soon.
Trevone Bay and the main village with farm shop, post box, public phone, pub, beachside shop and cafe is approx 800 metres walk. There is also ample beachside parking available in peak season (a charge applies).
Padstow is approx 1.5 miles by road or can also be reached on foot via public footpaths across fields (approx 5 miles)
From the bay there is access to the North Cornwall coast path and various other gorgeous bays. Harlyn bay is approx half an hour walk along the coast path.
Padstow is the nearest town with a range of shops, banks etc approx 1.5 miles easy drive. Tesco supermarket offer a Tesco direct home grocery delivery.
As well as the fantastic beaches, there are a host of great places to visit and things to do within easy travelling distance. Join in the renown Padstow 'Obby Oss' celebrations on may day, hire a bike , or bring your own and cycle the camel trail to Wadebridge or to Bodmin and enjoy a cream tea en route.... Explore the estuary, take a boat trip and explore the fantastic Cornish coast, take a ferry across to Rock and Daymer bay and visit John Betjman's resting place at St Enodoc's church.
Take a local explorer bus which runs the coast route and visit the nearby towns of Wadebridge, and Newquay. Newquay has an airport with links to London Gatwick. Further afield the city of Truro with its wonderful cathedral and great shops, is approx a 45 minute drive and is on a main railway line to London. Prideaux place, Pencarrow and Lanhydrock house(national trust) are within an easy drive.

Changeover day peak season is Sunday check in from 4pm, check out 10.00am.
It may be possible out of peak season to be flexible on changeover days and times. Please ask when booking and we will endeavour to accommodate your wishes where possible.
Notes on prices:
Short breaks are available out of peak season, and are priced as follows: 2 nights 50% of full weekly rental, 3 nights 60%, 4 nights 70%, 5 nights 80% and 6 nights 90% of full weekly rental prices.
Payment by direct bank credit. Full payment required 8 weeks before start of rental period. 20% deposit required to secure booking.
