Fantastic. Ideal for short break away
We had a lovely stay with our small dog Rosie. Had a warm welcome from Caroline & Jason. Nice extra touches of milk, bread, eggs. Rosie even had her own bed and treats. The cottage is beautiful, very clean and well equipped with stunning views. We are looking forward to booking again.
Dear Julie it was a pleasure to have you stay. Really glad you enjoyed the break and look forward to welcoming you again in the future.

Wonderful place to stay in the centre of Rye
Couldn't have asked for more, it was everything we wanted! Since we were coming by train, it helped that it's in walking distance of the station and so lovely to be right in the centre near all the cobbled streets.
The flat itself is great. Really clean and well equipped, and appreciated that there was a loaf of bread, milk and eggs. The sitting area is comfy and has huge views down from the window by the dining table. I just felt so relaxed here, it's a great getaway from the daily routine. Comfy bedroom and good bathroom.
Victoria is really quick to reply to any questions by email and Caroline gave us a friendly welcome - thank you!
If I were ever to visit Rye again this would be my first choice for somewhere to stay. Highly recommended.
Week in Rye
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rye - such a beautiful town made all the better by staying in a really central location in a homely, friendly house. A very warm welcome from Jason on arrival with lots of treats for us and our dog Buster. Everything you could need was readily available for a comfortable stay. The whole accommodation was spotlessly clean and the view when entering the house was to die for! Could've spent many an hour watching the tide and the changing skies - an artists dream! Will definitely be returning. Lots to see and do in surrounding area.
Extremely comfortable and attractive cottage in a superb location in the lovely town of Rye
Seaview Cottage was exactly as it was described and photographed for the VRBO website. It was clean, bright, quiet, comfortable, and well-equipped with all that anyone could want during a short stay or a long one, and the views from the windows are truly superb. I thoroughly enjoyed being able to light a fire during winter evenings and the fireplace functioned well! The location of the cottage in the heart of historic Rye could not be bettered. Prior to booking, communications with the owner were helpful, friendly and welcoming, and onsite, Jason and Caroline went out of their way to provide a warm welcome and to fulfill any requests for information or assistance. A sincere thank- you to both of them. Rye is a charming town with an abundance of restaurants, beautiful buildings, and interesting shops, and I don’t hesitate to recommend Seaview Cottage and Rye as
a perfect getaway for a single person, couple, or a family. An unexpected pleasure was the proximity of Kino cinema just steps away from the cottage, where one can
have a drink or a light meal in addition to seeing newly released films. Children’s films are screened during school holidays. Perfect for a wet or cold day!
Seaview Cottage is fully deserving of the positive reviews it receives.
It really was an absolute pleasure to have you stay and we are all so glad you enjoyed your time in Rye and Seaview and that both lived up to expectations.
Wishing you well for the future and hope to see you again at some point.
Best wishes Victoria, Jason and Caroline
A Charming Cottage Experience
We stayed at Seaview Cottage for two nights just after Easter 2018. The views from the lounge and bedroom are spectacular. The cottage itself, on two storeys, was clean, well-equipped and well maintained. An all-round wonderful place to stay.
