Located in Bigbury village, a pub and well-stocked shop is within a 0.5 mile walk at St. Anne's Chapel. The Oyster Shack, seafood restaurant, is within 1 mile. The property is in an ideal location to explore the South Hams region; Plymouth to the west, Dartmoor to the north, and the Kingsbridge & Salcombe estuary to the east. The apartment has a communal paddock area, and reserved parking for 2 cars, plus visitor parking and space for a small boat and trailer. The apartment sleeps 4 comfortably, with a further truckle bed available for 1 extra guest. No. 7 provides a great base for walkers, with country, moorland, river estuary and coastline walking all within easy reach. Bigbury, Thurlstone and Dartmouth Golf courses all welcome visitors. For water-sport enthusiasts Bigbury, Kingsbridge and Salcombe all provide facilities for kayaking, surfing, paddle-boarding, sailing etc.

The only problem was which we did know about is travelling.

You have to travel everywhere by car as this is a remote spot.

All very quiet and rustic.

So overall we enjoyed the holiday and the weather was ok as well.

Not wall to wall sunshine but was dry most of the time.

Accommodation was 5*. Perfect location for my needs. Easy to locate. Private and secure. Beautifully maintained outside areas.

Would liked to have stayed longer. Would certainly revisit and recommend to others.

SEJOUR PAISIBLE EN BORD DE MER

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans cette location. La propriétaire est chaleureuse et très aimable, à nos petits soins. Elle répond rapidement lors de tout contact. Elle a pris en compte le fait que nous étions une famille avec un bébé et nous a proposé un lit parapluie et une chaise bébé pour son confort. L'appartement est très bien équipé. Le village est paisible, la nature très présente, la mer très proche. Pratique pour visiter Plymouth notamment. Attention, les routes sont très étroites, il faut être prudent en voiture. Nous retournerons dans ce logement sans hésiter!
