The district of leith rests on the shores of the firth of forth at the mouth of the water of leith and has been the port of Edinburgh for hundreds of years. The original harbour dates back to the 14th century, and thus has witnessed many travelling kings and queens. the area has excellent public transport. The city centre is 10 mins by bus. The seaside villages of cramond, joppa and portobello are 10 mins by car and a direct bus journey.

Fantastic flat in an absolutely gorgeous location! Highly recommended!
I can’t say enough positive things about this flat in Edinburgh! Upon arrival I was surprised with juice, milk and bottled water waiting in the refrigerator as well as shortbread and sweets on the counter. The flat was very clean, spacious and had all the amenities that anyone could want. The bed was extremely comfortable and Catherine was kind enough to provide housekeeping during my two week stay. As far as building security, it’s very secure with a lighted and keyed entrance. The area around the flat is absolutely gorgeous as well. Very quiet, safe and an absolute pleasure to explore on foot, a welcomed break from the busy city center. Plenty of restaurants are within walking distance and provide numerous dining options. I would recommend this flat to anyone who is looking to spend time in Edinburgh. Couldn't be happier with my experience with Catherine and her beautiful property. Can't wait to visit again.

I really love the apartment. Felt very comfortable there, was very cozy and very cute. It was a great location, walking distance to everything. Restaurants right in that area. Catherine was very kind she had a little welcome gift waiting for us in the kitchen. The kitchen was very well supplied with utensils and everything you needed. Was a wonderful experience and I really appreciated staying there

It was a good decision to stay 10 minutes away from the city in busy August
Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was spotless and spacious. There were multiple cabinets/dressers for unpacking, which was nice. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. The kitchen had all the utensils you needed to cook but with so many cute restaurants and cafes in the area we never really used the kitchen. Leith is also an easy taxi or bus ride to the city centre. Would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful stay in Leith
Catherine's flat is lovely. Very clean and comfortable. The flat is very nicely decorated and both the bed in the bedroom and the hideabed in the living room we're comfortable. A lovely little kitchen with everything we needed. Catherine left us treats which was nice. Great place to walk along the canal. Lots of places to eat. Delicious ice cream at Crolla's on the next block. The bus to town right in front and taxi service (Gett) was very efficient . We had wonderful weather so all in all a very good experience. Will definitely stay here again! Thanks Catherine for your great flat👏
Nicely appointed apartment.Well served by buses. Use route 22 from station or 300 from
airport-both stop outside outside property-no need to get a taxi.Very comfortable bed.
Apartment was very clean and well equiped.Good Italian resturant just across road.
Edinburgh airport is about 10 miles away. AIRLINK BUS 200 from the Airport to Ocean Terminal a 10 - 15 minute walk from the property. Waverly train station is about 40 minutes walk, a taxi from there is about £8/£10. If the main purpose of your visit is to see historic edinburgh a car is not recommended. There are a number of good tour operators organizing day trips to countryside, including Loch Ness, Stirling, St Andrews , Highlands etc.

Princess Street - 1. 8 mile.
Holyrood palace - 2 mile.

The flat is within walking distance of a large shopping Mall and Cinema complex but also has a supermarket around the corner.
