The apartment Hania has three main features:
- it's easily and conveniently accessible any way you choose to get to Venice;
- it's very bright;
- it's located in a truly 'venetian' part of the city, lively, busy, well served by a local fish, fruit and vegetables market, and any other kind of store.
The apartment was completely renovated in January 2012 and it's located on the second floor of an elegant sixteenth-century building. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a large living room with exposed wooden beams, a double bedroom and two bathrooms, both with shower. It's located near the historic Jewish 'ghetto', the beautiful church of Madonna dell'Orto and the Casino, close to the ferries for the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello. Nearby, you will find every kind of shop you can serve and especially a lot of restaurants local, both ethnic or typically Venetian.
Cannaregio, together with Castello, is the largest district of the old town and where most of the inhabitants of Venice live. Staying at this apartment, therefore, will allow you to watch from the large balconies in the living room to the flow, cheerful and unique in the world, of everyday life in this city.
Rialto is about a 20 minute walk or, if you prefer, easily accessible by boat crossing the Canal Grande.
If your holiday is not hurried, with the only purpose of seeing Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge, this apartment offers you the exciting opportunity to discover a part of Venice that many people, although having already been, still don't know.

My name is Rosa, I was born and I live in Venice, a city that I love in every little detail, from the history to the art, the architecture and the way of living.
I manage with pleasure 3 apartments in the historic center of the city, adding this activity to my business managing a small perfumery near Piazza San Marco.
I speak and write fluently in English and French.
I love to travel and to find cozy places that make me feel at ease wherever I am.
Rosa purchased this apartment in 2012
This apartment belongs to my family. I decided to dedicate it to this activity because I love having contact with people from all over the world; opportunity that the international vocation of Venice allows me to accomplish.
I started this business with the main aim of making my guests's stay in the city as pleasant and comfortable as possible, so to return to their homes not only retaining the memory of the places visited, but also the feeling of having found their own 'home' in Venice.
My effort is, through custom maps and advice, to make discover Venice, not only as a tourist destination but as a city to love in its most secret shades; what I try to do, through my reading of the history of the city and my wandering in the constant research for hidden corners, is to transfer my passion to my guests, in the hope that it becomes a bit theirs too.
Arranging the apartments, I always try to interpret the needs of my guests, what they may need exactly as if I were the one who should stay.
We were met by Serena who was such a lovely friend of Rosa's at the water bus station and was taken straight to the apartment which was only a 5 minute walk. She gave us so much info as to where to eat, visit etc which was really thoughtful. The Apartment was wonderful and very spacious, very clean with everything you needed including two toilets!! There were lots of books on Venice so you don't need to bring your own! Air conditioning was an added bonus and the location was superb. We had a wonderful time in beautiful Venice and the apartment, thank you Rosa.

Beautifully presented, cool and very comfortable.
This is a very spacious well kept apartment with all the amenities you will ever need. My wife and I had a great time in Venice and a lot can be attributed to Rosa as a host. We were met from train station and given many recommendations of where to eat and even the best way to get around the city. The apartment is very large and very well kept. Highly recommend!
My husband and I stayed in Rosa's fabulous apartment for a week. We loved it and cannot recommend it highly enough. It is luminous, well positioned, very well equipped, comfortable (especially the bed), incredibly clean and has everything you can possibly require in luxury accommodation. Nothing has been overlooked regarding comfort. We loved it and would recommend it to anybody who is looking for a delightful base in Venice. Thank you Rosa for everything. Just one small thing that could be added, a clothes drying rack, but this is a small request. Like everywhere in Venice there are about 40 odd steps to climb but they are easy steps with landings in between floors and this is standard for apartment rentals in Venice. We would definitely stay here again.
My husband and I stayed in this comfortable and nicely decorated apartment in late November. On previous trips to Venice we had stayed in other sestieri, but Canareggio was a revelation to us. It is an area with few tourists, easy to get around and has good restaurants,shops and sights to see. Rosa is just wonderful, she spent lots of time on our arrival to help acclimate us. She was very organized and had maps, lists and books for reference at the apartment. She thought of everything, from the well supplied and equipped kitchen, to the very comfortable bed and pillows and the high quality bed linens. We would definitely stay there again and tell our friends to stay there! Thank you Rosa!
The apartment is / was perfect. The position in the city is optimal. The house makes a well-groomed impression. We recommend the apartment to all our friends.
There are two (small) restrictions: In the under bathroom the water-pressure is too weak: so you have in the shower the choice to be boiled or freeze. For months the communication with the hire-agency was impossible. Both should be improved.
The apartment is located in a lively area, well served by any kind of store. It is located near the ancient Jewish 'ghetto' and close to the beautiful church of Madonna dell'Orto.
