Villa near Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago - Varandas do Lago is set in a tranquil area and within easy reach of beautiful sandy beaches.

This extremely spacious 3 bedroom villa is exceptionally well-presented with each bedroom having its own en-suite shower/bathroom, built-in wardrobes, double glazing and air-conditioning. There is also a fourth shower room on the ground floor. The villa has an extensive basement with a home cinema area, games room and further indoor putting green. A fully-fitted kitchen designed to a high specification with ample size breakfast table, granite work surfaces, plenty of cupboard space and integrated appliances. There is a spacious open planned living/dining area with double glazed patio doors to covered terraces and private pool area with built in bar-b-que. All rooms have air-conditioning.

This is also the perfect villa for winter and early spring (golfers in particular), as it has under floor heating and heaters in all the bedrooms and lounge area, a gas fire in the lounge and also outside heaters so that you can still enjoy a bar-b-que or alfresco dining in the colder months.

We stayed with some dear friends in their villa in Varandas do Lago and fell in love with the area. It has fabulous beaches, a wealth of restaurants from economy through to Michelin standard and is right in the middle of a golfing paradise

What makes this villa unique

The nearest beach is a 5 minute drive and all of the beaches are perfect for children. They stretch for miles. There are an abundance of golf courses and tennis courts whatever your standard. As previously mentioned there are a massive array of restaurants for fine dining through to family economy.

Coast/Beach:

The villa is within easy reach of beautiful sandy beaches, a ten minute drive or a twenty minute walk through a tranquil wooded pine forest. The sandy beach stretches for about 5 miles with safe bathing, surrounded by golf courses and excellent beach/bar restaurants. One can walk from the heart of the ria formosa nature reserve at quinta do lago to vale do lobo and on to quarteria along the beach.

Travel:

Faro Internationl airport is within a 25 minute drive from the villa. Car hire is essential for getting around the area and there are numerous car hire rentals at Faro Airport.

Distances:

Quinta do Lago with its stylish shopping plaza, restaurants and hotels is less than a ten minute drive/twenty minute walk. There is also a Riding Stables about five minutes away from Varandas. Vale do Lobo is again about a ten minute drive and Vilamoura with its Marina and Casino is about thirty minutes in the car.

The Varandas do Lago development is set in the heart of the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve between the prestigious golf resorts of Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago. Surrounded by beautiful pine forests the development is within easy reach of sandy golden beaches. Within a short drive there is also an extensive selection of exclusive restaurants, nightlife and great shopping facilities. It is also only 25 minutes drive from Faro airport and Faro itself.

Notes on accommodation: This is an exceptionally well-presented villa, extremely child friendly and situated on an exclusive development close to sandy beaches and restaurants. Strictly no pets or smokers allowed and no stag/hen parties. Outside: The villa has lockable gates leading to steps up to covered entrance porch with main double oak front doors. Further electric gates open to driveway and garage. Landscaped gardens either side of entrance. Secluded 10m x 5m private swimming pool with landscaped garden, automatic irrigation system and featuring a natural stone wall backdrop. Built in bar-b-que area with outdoor dining table and chairs seating up to 8 people. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen included. Villa is cleaned weekly on exit of tenants. Other: Great fun games room with snooker table, table football and table tennis plus a darts board feature in this large basement area with comfy sofas and a cinema, tv and video. Adjacent is an indoor putting green to practice one's golf. Large storage area.

Best ever holiday to date.

From start to finish it was pleasurable. With the owners help, from booking until our return of a fabulous holiday.

The location of the villa was ideally located, close enough to the airport, beaches bars and restaurants and other facilities you may need.

A vehicle is recommended to visit other places, Vilamoura 20 minutes away and Alberfura 35 minutes away but none of them match Vale Do Lobo or Quinta do Lago which the local taxi can be used. Josie the taxi driver recommended by Jane could not be faulted, spoke good English and was very reliable and reasonably prices. Great so you can visit to local bars and restaurants and enjoy the local beers and wines.

Havent mentioned the villa yet, saving the best until last. It was second to none, Just as the web page said and more. Great location, very well equipped. The pool area was a sun trap with a lovely pool and patio area and a beautiful garden. With the villa itself was beautifully layed out, with a large open plan kitchen, dining area through to the lounge. All bedrooms were beautifully presented with lots of wardrobe space. Well equipped bathrooms and en-suites.

The games room just finished off a great days holiday, would love to take it home with us.

Would highly recommend it but not on the weeks I want to come back next year.

Superb !!

This is an excellent

villa well apppointed with tasteful furnishings yet a homely ambience. It is very spacious and the basement room is a bonus for fun family time. Although we stayed in April, the weather was great and despite the pool being unheated we swam most days including early mornings. Relaxing outdoors with the BBQ , pool and patio area was perfect. Amazing restaurants set on the beach with views to die for are a short ride away - we had great food at Maria's, Julia's, Eduardos and Caso de Campo. An upmarket shopping complex is also a short drive away and I can recommend the champagne afternoon tea at the Conrad Hotel . All in all the villa is of high quality in a lovely setting.

Sensational villa. Very helpful owners

Wow. Well appointed villa on a quite estate, within walking distance of the beach. Also walkable are a few restaurants, but ideally a car is needed to get around.

The pool area is a real sun trap (even in April) and the BBQ experience is enhanced by outside heaters.

The basement games room was a real hit with the family, with the large screen TV having both Sky and BT Sports.

Furnishing were lovely and the place felt like a home from home.

Transacting with the owners was very straightforward and we had a great holiday.

Very highly recommended.

Stunning Villa, Amazing Holiday

My young family spent ten days out here, and wish it had been longer! I was slightly nervous about how much work it would be taking my lot out there, but Jane (the owner) has made is all so easy out there. The villa was immaculate, the area so wonderful (tonnes of options for both day and evenings) and we can't wait to come back! Highly recommended!!

Exceptional villa in a wonderful location

From the initial communication with the owners through to our departure, this was a wonderful experience. The villa is immaculate and very well equipped. The location is wonderful with the beach, Quinta Do Lago and Vale Do Lobo extremely close by with a great selection of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes. The Villa is very family friendly with loads to do. Thanks again for a wonderful holiday and we will certainly be booking again.

Thoroughly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic holiday with the family. The villa is in a great location, near the beach and a wealth of superb restaurants. Very spacious inside, with a lovely private swimming pool. We've already spoken to Jane (the owner, really helpful and friendly) about booking again this year.
