Gamefield is a stunning and wonderfully spacious, light filled house situated in the heart of the historic Ochtertyre Estate with its beautiful beech wood walks overlooking Loch Monzievaird near Crieff. It is ideally placed to enjoy all things Perthshire - picnicking with a view, playing golf on one of the many surrounding courses notably Gleneagles, home to the Ryder Cup in September 2014 and then unwind in its award winning spa, visit a distillery or a castle, climb a mountain or take a drive through Glencoe, the dramatic backdrop to the scenes from James Bond’s Skyfall. Why not visit Dunkeld with its stunning cathedral on the banks of the River Tay or the pretty highland town of Pitlochry with its theatre or enjoy some luxury shopping at House of Bruar, the Harrods of the north! This stylishly designed house offers sumptuous accommodation in 5 double bedrooms (4 en suite bedrooms and 1 with adjacent bathroom). Additional accommodation for up to 4 guests (2 double bedrooms with a shower room) is available in The Indie House, just next to the main house. There is an additional cost for this. The layout takes advantage of the extensive south facing views and the recessed verandahs connect to the gardens providing an adventurous and safe playground. The Summerhouse, complete with cosy wood burning stove and a hot tub is a lovely outdoor retreat.

A stunning house in one of the most beautiful parts of the country with views to die for. One bedroom lovelier than the next and a fantastic dining room to eat in with (lots of) friends! The well positioned summer house gets the last rays of sun, just in time to pop into the Jacuzzi, with a fridge and plastic champagne glasses close at hand.

Tracey was so helpful and arranged laundry changes to cope with our new guests during the week. I want to go back already!

Only downside was the cosy AGA when the sun was blistering hot outside, but a small price to pay. A really exceptional holiday house.



The holiday was arranged for a peaceful and relaxing break and also to celebrate my daughter's 40th birthday. Gamefield certainly ticked all the boxes. Fantastic house and wonderful gardens. Lots of space to find a secluded spot for peace and quiet. The hot tub and summerhouse was well used, especially in the evening. Crieff and the surrounding area provided all the facilities we needed. Thanks to Tracey for looking after us during our wonderful stay. Fantastic holiday had by all, aged from 5 to 70 years old.

Cannot thank Tracey enough for her friendly welcome and the genuine concern that my family inclusive of 5yr old,4yr old and 2 yr old grandsons had a great time. Thanks for fixing SKY sports . The house is just lovely so much space the hot tub is far enough away not to disturb those wanting a quiet time and the covered deck was great for evening gatherings. Highly recommended

On the grounds of Gamefield we can offer The Indie House which is a 2 double bedroom apartment with small kitchen, shower room and sitting room with TV and dining area. Outside: Huge gardens hosting a Summer House at the foot of the garden which includes hot tub on the deck. There are other decking areas around the back of the house with summer patio furniture as well as an under covered decking area with table and benches. Music system and BBQ are available Utility Room: Additional freezer and fridge; washing machine; tumble dryer; and microwave. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All white cotton towels and linen are included. If you require additional house keeping throughout your week stay - arrangements can be made - please ask. Other: Scandinavian style summer house with wood burning stove and access to the hot tub set on the attached decking

Marvellous experience!

We were a group of 7 friends from Spain. Our experience at Gamefield could not have been better! A beautiful house with everything needed to have a comfortable, warm and peaceful stay. Great location and wonderful nature sorroundings.

Tracey was kind and helpful from the very beginning making us feel as if we were at home. William and Wendy are fantastic hosts and gave us great advise as to places to visit. Not to forget Wendy's restaurant at St.Andrews, Cromars!

For us it has been a great experience which we would love to repeat and highly recommend!!

It was a pleasure having such lovely holidays. Thank you!!!

Booking Notes:
1.We ask for a housekeeping deposit that is refundable after your stay. A booking fee of 50% is required to confirm the booking and the balance is due 4 weeks prior to the entry date.
2.We follow a standard pricing policy for short breaks and therefore a percentage of the weekly tariff is charged as such:-
2 nights stay = 65%
3 nights stay = 70%
4 nights stay = 75%
5 nights stay = 80%
6 nights stay = 100%

Unfortunately the Owners Direct website automatically calculates a pro rata rate and therefore can show an incorrect charge for a short break. Unfortunately it is not possible to keep this from happening. We do apologise in advance if you find your initial quote is different to an amended quote.

Changeover Day:
Our preferred changeover day is Saturday however is quieter seasons this can be negotiable

Notes on prices:
For additional accommodation you have the option to book The Indie House which can sleep a further 4 people. To book The Indie House the cost is a flat rate of £595.00.
